How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

This is what I'm shooting for. Plan to buy a TE with KDSS/NAV this week.
Update: brought home a MGM KDSS with Nav tonight. $200 below invoice $36,088 and they added a few accessories to match a similarly equipped 4runner at another dealer (about $500 retail). Not a smoking deal but required very little negotiation, spent some time at Seattle/Bellevue dealerships and they were $1k-1.7k higher and would not budge (similarly equipped except one had auto start.)

Finally got my new '14 trail edition Friday. Mag grey base version of the trail purchased in MD for a hair over 34K after tax, tag, title. Going price around the nova/dc/md area seems to be 36K for the base trail and that's before the extra fees so I feel pleased with what I paid.
FWIW I was only able to fine one TE prem. in the area listed at 42K. Dealer was firm on price saying they kmew it would go quick, lowe and behold 2 days later it was gone.
I will miss the KDSS as I was able to drive a used one with it but wouldnt have been able to swing that price right now. Figure down the line I can have High-Tech work work some magic on mine anyways.
Regardless, absolutely thrilled to finally have my 4Runner!

Picked up a Super White TE Base with KDSS & Nav for $35.8k. This was $3k off their invoice. I'm sure I could have done better, but I was trading in my 2012 TE that was just in an accident (insurance was paying for repairs at Toyota's body shop) and they gave me a great deal on trade value. Regardless, what worked for me was to pull up another local dealer's webpage and asked them to price match. I was told all Toyota dealers will price match. IF they don't they lose a sale so its in their best interest to match the sale price and make a few bucks. Obviously they wont price match a cross county dealership, it would have to be within reasonable driving distance.

When I was shopping for mine, I focused on percentage off or under MSRP. I targeted 10% off MSRP. See my post#126 page9 in this thread. It will give you a ballpark figure. I ended up getting my TP in San Diego. Lots of dealers willing to negotiate there. Good luck!
Thanks - Just got the price down a tad to 35.3K for the same truck and another $500 in trade-in. $800 swing - not too bad IMO.

I got $1,300 below invoice in Houston with no negotiation involved. Maybe I could have done better if I tried.
MSRP was $43,552
Invoice was $40,685
I paid $39,385
Its a 2014 Limited with the anniversary discount ($1000 MSRP, $653 Invoice)
It included some dealer installed options (Mudguards, Carpet mats, cargo crossbars, and aluminum running boards)
This is the second 4R I have purchased from the same salesman in 10 years.
My recommendation is to visit a FLEET salesman, not a retail salesman. Fleet guys have a lot more room to move and play less games in my experience.

I believe that is the best price I've heard yet. So far I have been offered every thing from MSRP to $36k for a TE premium. Hoping to work it further tomorrow.

That's a great price. I pick up my silver base TE (w/running boards, nav/entune, all season mats) in an hour and a half and am paying $34,000 before all the add ons. I wish I could have found a base model with KDSS, but nothing was around here. EXCITED though.

Thx. It thought there was a way to look them up on the internet. I am having a problem finding a TE Premium w/ KDSS in the Northeast and only found a few but they are 5+ hours away from me.
