How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

I was quoted $35,500 for a 2014 SR5 Trail Edition today. I passed on the deal because I was really looking for a 2010-2013 but they didnt have any except one with some suspension and front axle problems. That price does seem pretty fair, and it rode pretty darn well even compared to my Lexus GX470

I don't know about your area, but in SoCal I can get a 2014 Trail Premium for 38k right now.
So to me 37.4k sounds a little high for the Trail Base in my opinion.

What's an SR5 Trail? It's either an SR5 or a Trail edition but not both.

@High, I think that's a decent price. I got mine for $37k without the sliding deck and exhaust tip.

Picked up my 2014 Trail Premium w/ KDSS yesterday. Sticker was $41,390 and I got it for $38,100. They gave me $29K for my 2011 SR5 w/ 30K miles on it. Still owed $8K. The price includes a $500 rebate and I got 0% for 36 months. Very happy with my deal. Had to travel 4 hrs to get the vehicle but about $2K better than I could do in my local area.

Best deal I can find is a regular TE with kdss for 36.5k otd with ttl....seems pretty fair-opinions?
Also for those who went with the premium edition-why did you choose it? I am still wavering as to whether I like the softex and if I would use a sunroof...decisions decisions...

I would absolutely get a premium version if you can get a good deal on it. When I was shopping around it was only going to be an SR5 or Trail Premium and I luckily got a good deal on a 13 Limited. I live in Florida so I have no use for heated seats but if you live in a cold area I could see where that comes in handy. As well I never had a car with a sunroof prior and now I find myself using that daily. I think in the long run it's better to have those things rather than wishing you had them down the road.
That is a pretty good deal OTD for a Trail but I would see if you can a great on the Premium. If not you'll still get a great deal on the base trail and you could always add aftermarket leather later on like the Katzkin's.

I went with the premium as I wanted the sunroof and Softec seating.

I'm going with the premium because I like the softex seats. I think they will be more forgiving with the kiddos. I also like the heated option. As for the sunroof, I wish I could get a premium without it. I'll never use it and I doubt my wife will use it much either.
I love my sunroof and use it all the time here in Albuquerque. I have seat heaters in another car, my Avalon, and love them. I've thought about adding aftermarket leather and heaters to my runner.

I have to agree. Nothing better than a warm evening and a sunroof open. Just wish the passenger seat didn't sit up so high, the sunroof takes up too much space!
Absolutely. You must be tall like me. My head hits the headliner in the passenger seat.
I saw the pics of your new limited in the other thread. Nice. Glad the pull and shimmy is getting fixed.
Back to sunroofs: I've had three Toyotas and three sunroofs. I currently own two and although I tend to not use the one in the Avalon as much when I do it's wonderful. I don't know why, but I use the one in the runner more. My first Toyota, an '85 SR5 xtra-cab had a manual sunroof. You had to stop and remove it if you wanted it completely off. I mostly used it in the vent position.

$36,820 (4.8% sales tax). Friend's 4runner. It's a Limited 2WD, that's all I know.
EDIT: Never mind, I just went outside and looked. It looks like a Trail Edition.
EDIT AGAIN: I have no idea what it is. Maybe a base model with a hood scoop, all I know is that he made it a point to get a 2wd model and that he told me the OTD price which I remember because I was looking at getting one myself. So, sorry, not helpful I know.
