How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

Picking up my T4R TE Premium with KDSS, remote starter, floor mats, & cargo cover for $38500 + TTL tomorrow. Financing through Toyota for 2.9% for 60 mos and getting an additional $1000 back for military. Will attempt to negotiate the percentage down to 2.75% which I was approved for through my bank.

You should be able to get 0.0% financing for 60 months from Toyota. I just financed for 48 months at the 0.0% and they were pushing me to go 60 months at the same rate.

I've had mine for about a month now but I paid $33,670 + TTL. TE w/ cross bars, entune premium and all weather mats.

Picked up my 2014 SR5 4x4 with Entune and 3rd row seat yesterday (MSRP was $36,500). Used True Car to get $4600 off of the MSRP and was given $2100 for my 1997 4runner with 326,000 miles. My OTD was $30,500 which included TTL. Also got 0% for 60 included with deal.

New here. This is an excellent discussion. Looking in Portland, OR. Not sure what I want yet. Was leaning toward an SR5 Premium but a couple of people here convinced me to look at a Limited, which I'll do today.

One dealer has already told me they don't negotiate. I literally laughed at the salesman. He told me once I decide on a can he'll hand me off to the finance guy. I asked "and he negotiates?" The guy said "we don't do that." I laughed again.

I'm planning to go in with an OTD offer of ~10% below MSRP. Maybe more for a Limited. If they won't deal, there's no reason for me to not wait for a 2015. I don't have a trade and don't need their financing. Will see how it goes. I may also see what Costco does, but I enjoy the negotiating and hope I can do better.

Got one offer and one that may happen. Got close to 10% below MSRP for a Limited that's not exactly what we want, but close. They asked me to come up on price. I went in very low. Told them I'd sleep on their counter.

They are steering me toward a fully loaded Limited that's a demonstrator (8K miles) at 20% below MSRP. Good deal, but not the car we want.

The sales manager came out and very politely told me the really can't move any more on these cars. I told them that's fine. They have my number. He let me know that they are selling well and likely won't be there long. Could be. These are 2014s and 2015s are already showing up here. Not a bad negotiating experience at all.

Stickered at $36075, out the door $35688

SR5 4x4 Nav System, roof rack rails and floor and cargo mats.

What's the True Market Value® of a car? $41,673

Culver City Toyota's deal: $40,581. Fully Loaded 2014 TE Premium, Platinum Warranty (maybe not needed, but I can sleep at night)
.00280 % interest

$4000 down
60 month lease @ $577 month (=34,620)
residual $16,000

That sounds like a bad deal.

60 month lease, total $34620, with a residual of $16000? So if you were to buy the car after the lease, the total price paid would be $50620?

At those rates you are better to buy.

Example: Finance $40851 - $4000down = $36851

$36851 x 60months @2.9% = $655.69/month

There is talk of 0%@60 months, that would come out to around $610/month.

You will never win a lease, but leasing for 60months is lose/lose.

Yes, I plan to refinance and buy ASAP.

new to the forums tried Darios approach i think it worked quite well for me
scored a 2015 limited 2wd with boards mats and paint protection for 39100 +ttl came out to alittle under 42k.

i found it funny at some of the lines that salesman have used on me

2015 Limited
-Blizzard Pearl White (+$395, special color)
-3rd row seating
-all weather mats + all weather rear cargo mat

$42,995 (not including tax, title, license, etc...)

financed at 1.9% for 48 months with $14k downpayment. No Trade in.

was offered invoice price (employee price/dealer price) today not MSRP. approx 2000.00 off msrp. can i do better and negotiate?

In my experience, at least here in Vegas, "invoice price" was the typical starting point at each dealer and definitely not the same as employee pricing. Even with the Costco buying program, I was quoted "invoice price" with no room to negotiate.

I was able to do better than that and, depending on how many dealers are in your area, so should you. That being said, it's also hard to tell how much better without knowing trim and options. Good luck!

yeah just went back and read the thread. i can do better than invoice for sure.

im in NJ. I want the sr5 premium w/weather mats and rigid running boards as additions. I'm going to trade in my 2010 sr5 w/43k miles on it to the dealer to save on taxes. In NJ i only have to pay tax on the difference between vehicles. I think ideally if the dealer wants my business I'm hoping to pay 9-10k out of pocket.

1st post, great forum
traded my beloved 05 pathfinder OR (got $6K had some "issues")

got the following deal

14 trail premium with rigid boards, mats, wheel locks, and remote starter (more in that on another thread)

$35,995 out the door

decent deal especially since my rig was shagged from Long Island (nothing in the Boston area)

Assuming that has to be after the $6k from the pathfinder
