How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

My quotes are coming back $500 off MSRP to $1500 over invoice on a 2016 TEP using USAA and Costco. This is the first time USAA/Costco has failed me. Does anyone have leads on a Toyota dealer in the PNW with reasonable pricing or do I just need to wait until 2016 availability is better?

I just did a purchase with Costco for a 2016 SR5 Base. Accessories: roof rack cross bars and all weather floor mats + cargo mat. Costco price is apparently invoice. $34,095.00 + TTL fees (about 10% here so ~$37500 OTD). MSRP was $36,170.00. Dealer really worked with me on my trade in as well. Another dealer I went to in the area wouldn't consider invoice price, they wanted maybe $500-$1000 over invoice and about $2k less on my trade in. Seems in the PNW right now 2016 availability is slim and they're sold before hitting the dealers lots hence the dealers don't need to make crazy deals right now to move them. They're selling them just fine at around $500-$1000 off MSRP. Especially the trail editions from my research.

My dealer says the TEP and of course the TRD are harder to get and they do sell fast. Quite often somebody looking for a TRD Pro will end up in a TEP so they are both a little more rare. The Sr5 being the most inexpensive sells well, but are also in higher supply. Who knows the reality.

I live here in so cal and just ordered a 2016 trail premium no cargo deck (CD) option. I have it now and hate it. I ordered mine with no options at all just (CF) floor mats. All the trucks on the lots are fully loaded.

Mine didn't even have an option for the rear deck I don't think. Are the ones around you coming with them already? I don't get it unless you are carrying around something like a bunch of camera equipment or something that you are going to access several times a day and load back up. It a huge pain tryingto get everything to load up on those and not fall off and it's obviously impossible to sleep in the back which is one of the things I always loved about my T4Rs.

Yes , the few I found had everything. I think longo still has a loaded white one. Regarding the cargo deck , what makes it more stupid is when you slide it out whatever was on top , like a blanket, cargo mat or cover to protect the truck from cargo it falls in between and you can't slide it back in. So stupid.

Just keep looking and working with the dealers. Different dealers if need be. Check odometers as well. Mine had 62 miles on it when I showed up, and I used that as a point of negotiation. Looks for trucks that are on the lot for more than a week. Go in guns blazing, and tell them that you are motivated to buy for the right price. Name your price and stick to it, if they don't budge, move on... Availability isn't a huge issue. I got my '16 with a decent discount, and it was from one of the first waves from Japan.

Bought mine and had a good experience with Ressler Toyota out of Bozeman MT. The local dealers wouldn't swap with them, so I ended up paying to shop it down to me.

Hey all... first post here on the forum - long, long time lurker.

Traded in my 2012 Limited RAV4 w/ V6 on a 2015 Midnight Black/Redwood Limited T4R earlier last month. Dealer had the vehicle at about $44k (all weather mats & remote start - blah), got them down to about $40.5k plus some OEM running boards.

They also had, still have a Blizzard Pearl w/ Redwood and 3rd row. Couldn't fathom trying to shove someone in that third row!

Overall, happy with the purchase price as well as the trade value I got for my RAV4.

Will say, this is a completely different beast coming from the RAV4 (very, very car like) to the stiff truck feel of the T4R. I love it, the wife loves it, and the interior is a conversation starter.

That's a damn good price for a TEP (kdss) OTD. Lowest in stock price I found for a 2015 in Florida was like 43-44kOTD. I ended up ordering a 2016 TEP w/kdss for $42,300 OTD. Ends up being like $3700 off msrp. Which I think was a good deal

Yea 36k OTD for a TEP seems to good to be true with tax, title, "dealer fees" etc. Not saying that wasn't the price but it was an excellent one!
