Since the dealer scratched it seems that you could demand they do the clay, polish and wax or send it to a body shop and pay for it.
tried that with my passat I bought last may, dealer was reluctant to pay since it is fine for 99% of customers, I had my passat polished to remove buffing swirls and after paying $220 to have it repaired and a sealant applied the swirls were still there... it was then that I decided to give it a go myself. I bought some inexpensive pads, an inexpensive buffer (dual action) and some compounds/ wax/ sealants and fixed it myself. all in I spent about $100 on products and am finally happy with how the car looks,
long winded there sorry. basically I don't trust local body shops or the dealer to fix it correctly so I did it myself.

Makes sense, I feel the same way about paying someone else to do something that I can do.

Just picked up a '16 SR5P, 4X4, heated seats, sun roof, 3rd row, nav, BT, side steps and cross bars for $44k, AFTER taxes and all that jazz and BEFORE my down payment (thank you tax season). I didn't try to haggle the price at all, I paid the sticker price but my dealer didn't have any additional mark up on it because I built one online and it was the exact same price at the dealership, unlike other Toyota dealers in the area. I was satisfied and also couldn't be too picky 'cause my leased Optima had gotten totaled after being rear-ended by a Tahoe. All in all, it's a little pricy but I LOVE it and don't regret a thing. They also added on TRD pro rims for an extra $500 installed, couldn't turn that down!

Hansel Toyota up here in Petaluma! My sales person was Ron, he was new but super nice and made us feel very welcomed. We had a very fixed monthly payment we wanted to pay and he went back and forth for us between the finance people about 4 times to get us the monthly we wanted. His manager Keith also helped us out a bit and he was super friendly and talked to us like we knew him for years, he actually ended up calling the main manager to get us closer to the monthly we wanted and got it. Definitely recommend.

Hi guys , just joined the family, '15 TRDP $13k for a salvage title. Rear axle shaft, lower link mount and some rear suspension parts need to be redone. Front end is untouched! Quoted $7k for repair. Sounds like a good deal eh? Super amped to get back in the Toyota family! I owned an 03 IS300 in 06-10

No trade in, just got lucky, they wanted to move it. I told them whatbI would pay, when the sales guy returned he actually said he couldn't get that price for himself. That was essentially the true price for the 4Runner without the 4x4, GPS or tray. I wanted silver but I can live with the white at that price. I purchased it at Toyota of Orlando. Good luck!

I finally found one dealership willing to work on the price with me and quoted me $37,300 before taxes, DMV, and dealer fees. It's a 2016 Trail with KDSS, Entune radio, and carpeted floor mats/cargo mat. MSRP is $39,935 before $500 Keep It Wild Savings and $2,135 knocked off. I contacted 5 other dealerships and they're either not willing to negotiate off of the MSRP or only willing to discount $1k. Does this sound like a good deal?

That's pretty much the same setup I just got, I think you got a couple hundred more off than I did. Sounds like the best deal around where you are.

In the Sf bay area there are lots of Toyota dealers butnot many 4runners so the dealers don't wiggle much on price. My Trail was one of 3 currently available in the greater Bay Area. I got 5% off MSRP. I'm happy!

Thats pretty good really. The dealers I was working with in Colorado all were saying about $37,800 and wouldn't do any better than that.
The one I finally got was for $36,500 but that was up in Wisconsin. Kind of a crazy find really.

Just put a deposit on a 2016 trail edition premium in super white with KDSS and all weather mats for $40k, MSRP was just over $42k. It arrives in 3 weeks. It took me a good week of haggling to get to that price. Mind you it also took me a good week and sorting through 10-15 dealerships to find a TEP....I almost settled for a regular trail but I am glad I didnt.
