How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

When I first started looking for a runner (late Dec or early Jan) I found a 2015 TRD Pro, white with 24k miles selling for $38k Obo... So I thought oh, this is the going price for this model.... Eeaakkkk!!! I was so wrong!! Should have jumped on the TRDP backwards dressed like a princess. SMFH...
I am happy with my Trail, fits our needs very well.

36,100 that is a fact. with KDSS . And it only had 25 miles on it. they listed it at 41,500 on internet . with Toyota platinum care remote start and a five year undercoating.taxes title and registration all totaled $38,910.11

This is driving me nuts. People are saying they got Trail Premiums for 36,100 in other states and then I call up all the California dealers and they act like they are doing me a favor charging me 35,500 + TTL for a base model SR5.

How could there be this much variation in pricing from state to state? You guys are getting a couple THOUSAND under invoice is what you are telling me?

I'm going to end up shipping a car here. How many people here shipped a 4runner from a different state?

The same guy I got mine from just quoted me a price of $35,000 for Trail and $37,500 for trail premium... USAA pricing!

Im trying to tell myself I dont need to trade in my SR5 with less than 5000 miles for the trail!

Those tires are only a couple months old so I had the dealer swap them to my new 4runner.. Better than the dunlops that came on it.

My friend got the employee pricing on a 2015 4x4 SR5, not sure what options he has, but he said it was either $31k or $34k but will try to check. Said it might have been $34k with TTL

Sounds like the employee discount is only way to get a real bargain in SoCa

Just got my TEP w/o KDSS $38k before ttl at Texas, MSRP is $42K. Not much hassle, they offered, I took it right away! Blue color, my fav!

I would think $39k with TEP w/ KDSS $39k is great deal!

Got it for $39,968 + ttl. Very minimal effort on my part, just worked with the internet sales team. For another reference point, another local dealership would only discount $1,300 off MSRP.

Can't wait for it to get here!

I would hink that its high. you might want to walk on that one and keep looking. my town has about five toyota dealers. The one that I got mine from two days ago was 38,900 with KDSS and some rubber floor matts with the back mat remote start and undercoating.Thats a good deal in my book.:drum:

I quoted my post. I got a little better but only after about 5 hours of haggling spread out over 2 days. They also did a dealer swap for a different vehicle than the one we had agreed on with some different options, so I used that to get an additional 1.5% under invoice. A lot depends on area though.

MSRP PRICING:

NEGOTIATED PRICING:
$40,900 - Vehicle, options, delivery
$699 - Dealer Fee
$150 - Other taxable fees (likely varies by state)
$-1,000 - Military rebate
$40,749 - Subtotal

$2,950 - Taxes

$43,699 - Total

Posted this in a TRD pro thread, but maybe this will help some people in the Bay Area. I placed a deposit on a Quicksand on Sunday with arrival date middle of next month. Am paying full MSRP.

Another dealer called me today and said a Quicksand is being built, but available for deposit and selling for $100 under MSRP. Being such a hot car around here, I wonder how I was able to put a deposit down on one and then another available?

This other TRD pro should sell fast in the Bay Area. Probably be gone by tomorrow if not already today. PM me if you want the dealer contact. In the South Bay.

I am in LA and getting shot down on my search for a Pro....and dealers are telling me even if they had one its $5k over sticker and to get in line...

Someone offered me a Trail Premium with no KDSS for $37,960....

Is this a good deal? I have not been savvy at what options to look for or not on a Trail because I was hoping to find a TRD Pro but that seems impossible in this area
