How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

Working on our first 4Runner....Got a quote for a 16 Trail (no kdss) for 33,900 before ttl....Deal or no Deal???

I would stop negotiating and take that deal. That's about as low as it gets and I'm not sure I've seen anyone else get a deal that good. If you're serious and ready to buy I'd take that in a heart beat before someone else does. Also make sure you don't get boned on a trade (if you have one) or other silly fees where it makes it appear that you are getting a good deal.

Got my payoff letter on my '16 SR5 today.

It's finally mine.

I'll never understand purchase incentives that require you to finance. It's such a pain in the ass for everyone. They have to setup everything to finance and I have a ding on my credit. All over a net $500~ savings to me.

Congrats!

What do you mean by ding on credit? Are you referring to credit check they do before finance or is it something to do early payoff?

After lurking around this forum for about 10 months, I just picked up my 2016 Blizzard Pearl Limited!

Pretty basic: Crossbars, mudguards, and mats.

$41,667 + TTL

That's a good deal. None of the dealers I went to in Texas wanted to go below $44k for a blizzard pearl with redwood interior. I ended up going out of state to get mine and paid even more just so I could get this color combo without having to special order it. Oh well I'm happy. I'd be happier if I paid your price though. :bluejump:

I'll be picking up my new 4Runner this week and have been working on insurance items and got to thinking...

I'm fortunate to be in a situation where I'm able to pay cash, but for those you out there that own your 4Runners, how long do you keep full coverage insurance vs liability insurance?

Based on my current situation I'm thinking I'll probably plan to have full coverage on my 2016 SR5 Premium for 8-10 years.

I always base a decision like that on the value of the insured object. But I have never kept a car 8-10 years.

The sale price of my 16 Trail was $35.2g before trade equity and TTL. Negotiated a set of TRD Pro wheels into the deal with mounting and balancing of new tires for free. Accessories the dealer installed : roof rack cross bars, all-weather mats and cargo, cargo cover, and chrome exhaust tip.

Man this thread makes me feel like I got ripped off so bad. Next time I need to do wayyyyyy more research. Really wish I came to this site before I bought.

Got my 2015 4Runner TP for 36850 with 11k miles.

Seems like lots of folks get the Trail or TRD versions - what for? I went SR5 because that gray color of the Trail was ugly and the third row of seats was more practical to me than a non-functioning hood scoop. What else do those models have and why are they so popular here?

Seemed silly to wait 3 months and drive half way across the country to get a Trail when I got my 4x4 SR5 that day on the cheap.

Full coverage for my brand new, not financed T4R is like $500/yr for both Comprehensive and Collision at a $500 deductible. Even 10 year old 4x4 T4Rs are what? $10,000? I'll probably keep this thing 15 years, and until the value drops below $5k I won't even think about dropping it.

 Why not?

Boo.

Just about everyone who participates on this board are enthusiasts and to me the enthusiasts tend to gravitate toward the off-road gizmo-heavy models like the Trail and TRD. The SR5 is the volume model.

I get that there are enthusiasts who use the SR5 as a blank canvas for builds (and I respect the hell out of that), but I think *most* SR5 buyers don't give a crap about 4wd or crawl or MTS or KDSS or TRD anything.

What's done is done. There's nothing you can do about it now and reading threads like this will only have you second guessing yourself with regret. Ignore this thread and just go out and enjoy your 4Runner. As well, a lot of people just put the price they "bought" it at. Sometimes they forget to add in the fact they had a trade in for $3000 or that there was a $799 dealer fee etc etc.

Go out and enjoy the truck!!!

New here, picked up a 16 Trail Premium (Blue) yesterday using the Costco Auto program 38.9k, had to drive to New Orleans. Liked the program for it's no hassle price. Look forward to this new vehicle (1st Toyota) and this forum.

$39,832.90 (Tax, title, doc fees, everything, out the door) for a 2016 Trail Premium in Magnetic Gray. Tax is 7.5%, so $36,844 for truck only. I've bought 7 vehicles from my dealer in the last 15 years, so I ask for bottom line, no haggle price, do research, and have always bought from them. I account loyalty for the price.

...and they let you charge up to $5K on visa. I had cash for it, so i charged $5K and got 1% cash back, so $50 in my pocket. Every little bit helps.

About 2x that in mods, LOL.
