Traded our '15 Wrangler on a new '16 4Runner Trail in late September. The 4RT was $47819 Cdn, about $37300 US. The Canadian Trails are fitted out like a US Trail Premium and ours came with Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac MT rubber. We love it. - Ted'n Betty

I think what they quoted you is a good price and is pretty close to what I paid for my SR5 Premium. Could you get a few more hundred dollars off? Probably, but in my opinion/experience, the amount of time negotiating goes up exponentially and wasn't worth the time to me.

In my situation they offered me the lower price of $35,000 if I financed, but I was paying cash and didn't want to deal with it.

Just broke 100 miles and loving it.

Paid $33K OTD for a 2016 Trail with KDSS. Traded a 2015 Honday Odyssey with 18k miles on it. I like this deal. I am waiting for it to arrive in the US now!

Paid $33K OTD for a 2016 Trail with KDSS. Traded a 2015 Honday Odyssey with 18k miles on it. Payoff was $18,335 and they gave me $23k for it. So about $4,500 for it. 33k - 4.5k= $28.5k i like this deal. I am waiting for it to arrive in the US now!

That is a crazy good deal. I paid 28 otd for a 15 sr5 with 40k and thought that was a good deal.

Silver Trail Premium with KDSS.

We ended up having to add cross bars and rubber mats to get ours ordered. The final sales price was $39,800 (ish). No other options.

Then we added tax licensing, paperwork and an extended warranty.....sigh....

The truck is still awesome though!

I just picked up a grey 2016 SR5 with nav for $34,975 + DMV fees last week. I had an offer for a little less at a dealer on the other side of town, but I was not happy with the slimy sales tactics they tried to get me in the door. So I went to the closest one to me. The "no-haggle" price they had was still one of the best I had seen.

Big change for me coming from a Golf TDI, but I wanted something completely different and VW (with the EPA "encouragement") is helping cover quite a bit of the cost!
