picked up my Mag Gray Off Road Premium w/KDSS & Moonroof, Floor liners, cross bars, and exhaust tip for $41K probably could have got them down another $500 to $1000 but i'm pretty happy with the deal I got.
How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

Ours is a company car so not a dime... but the sticker was right at $39k for the SR5 Premium. I have some other options too (Sunroof, running boards, roof rack cross bars, and floor mats.)

Nephew wanted a 4R, I found a leftover '16 Trail Premium. After some talking back and forth I got $9k off MSRP and they gave us more than expected on his trade.

Signed on a '17 Limited 4x4, Nautical Blue w/Redwood interior. Remote start, Premium protection, running boards, mats, etc. $41,750+TTL (11.2% off MSRP). Probably could have squeezed more but I'm happy with it.

I don't think so. You can get a ORP for that price.
My quote includes tax tag and title - I haven't gotten any other dealers around here that can beat it yet.
I need that 3rd row - and I believe it comes only on SR 5 & Limited models. Correct me if I'm wrong.

What is the cost for tag, tax, and title in your area? Hard to know if this is a good deal without that information. FWIW, I purchased a '17 SR5 Premium 4WD with 3rd Row, moon roof, roof racks, remote start, and tube steps for $36,750 before tag and tax.
If your numbers add up, it looks like they're wanting above msrp. I wouldn't consider it on an SR5, it's not like they're limited production like the trd pro's. I'd prob try to find one further out and go get it, that's ridiculous.
I'm showing MSRP on a SR5 4WD with Third row is $38.5K

$900 doc fee? It's $149 in MO. Shoot for at least 10% below MSRP excluding TTL.
Earlier you said msrp was 34,575, plus all the fees equaled 38.3, and they wanted 38.5 unless something was a typo. Not trying to split hairs, just don't know offhand what msrp on an sr5 is. Either way I'd look elsewhere, even if you spend the same money, you may can upgrade to an sr5 premium. Also, your location would probably help a lot. Prices can be significantly different depending on your region.
I should clarify - that $34,575 is the MSRP after the discount.
The quote shows a MSRP of $38,004 then a discount of $3,428, then TTL, Fees, Etc.
So before any fee's, tax, title, etc I am getting about 9% off the MSRP.
This car is not on the lot, I would have to put a deposit down and order. This is in south florida where I'm learning 4X4's are hard to come by.

Not sure if this can be made sense of but I purchased a new TRD Sport Tacoma last October for $33500 OTD (2WD) I recently traded it plus $750 for a 16 4Runner SR5 Premium. So I am all in for $34,250 for the Premium with 12K
Yesterday I ordered a new Blizard Pearl Limited 2WD and will be giving my dealer $8700.....So in effect, I paid 42950 OTD for the Limited, A little high but really a great deal coming from the troubled Tacoma.
Another reason is I don't want to be a beta tester for the new 18 4Runner with the 3.5 motor in it. I did not like that engine in the Tacoma. The 4.0 is a workhorse,

"Document fees" are up to the dealer. They're a rip off imho. Plenty of dealers out there who don't charge that garbage. Doc fee and processing fee, scams.

Just bought a 2017 TRD off road, list was 46720, plus remote start 1000, minus 2500 discount, plus 1900 in fees, 47000 before taxes and 53150 taxes in. Located in Ont Canada.
I hear that Toyota doesn't discount much, unlike GM and Ford trucks which is what I am used to, but I'm already very happy with this purchase and look forward to many years with this 4runner!!!! Even if it is my wife's daily driver.....:lookout:
