I bought from Koons Westminster Toyota, but Waldorf Toyota was going to sell me the same vehicle for a similar price (+/- $150). Both dealerships were easy to work with (and negotiate with).

My brother just picked up a 2018 trd offroad for 36k otd (fees/title,reg,etc included) in portland OR (no sales tax). I believe it was around 35.7k ish prior to the fees

I picked up my 2018 TRD ORP 4wd in Nautical Blue on the 2nd of January. Local dealer here in town matched the big dealer in Charlotte. MSRP $41722, $36888.34(included dealer fee) plus ttt. Moonroof, cargo cover, sliding tray and paint protection xf2100.

Is the Premium worth it? I dont really care about a sunroof, and I dont need leather. The seats would probably end up with some nice covers on them anyway since we have dogs. I would like heated seats though.

I bought from Koons Tyson a few days ago. Got a TRDOR non premium and no KDSS. I got $34.9k without the trd performance. Try to get them below their "wow" price. Contact Waldorf & Priority Springfield, too. They can do better!

Wow was that out the door? Priority has lifetime engine warranty which I do like, hopefully would never need to use it!

I dont like the "TRD Performance" package. If theyre going to charge you an extra $1000, you should get the OEM wheels with the car too lol.

The only option I was interested in for the OffRoad was the KDSS, Toyota says its Optional but I cant even build it that way.

KDSS, TRDPro wheels, Grille, and suspension are all I really want lol.

Really not sure what you are saying? Like you wish you had looked at the limited or the SR5 Premium?

SR5 Premium is TRD Premium without locking rear diff, crawl control and the option for KDSS.

SR5 models, OR v premium, etc. i strictly compared the orp to pro, and while I really like the car, I am wishing I looked into and drove the other models, as well. Im not saying I’d necessarily have bought another model, but I feel like maybe I should’ve at least checked them out. I think I may have been happy with the Off Road vs ORP as I am notnas excited about Softex and entune premium as I expected to be.

Im not super excited about the Softex or the Entune Premium, for starters. The Softex, while... uh... soft, feel kind of cheap. I like them, but dont love them. The speakers stink. Entune is ok. Again, I like it, but dont love it. For the price, I want to love it all - so in hindsight Im wishing that I at least looked at the standard Off Road before jumping on the Premium. Might not have changed my mind, but I wouldn’t be sitting here wondering about it if I had.

I know Koons has some on their without the TRD performance but with KDSS. If use Truecar.com/edmunds.com to build it & solicit out to nearby participating dealers. They'll contact you with great prices & use their prices to compete against each other till you get the TRDOR with KDSS that you want.

I do a search from Va Beach to FairFax and had Maryland dealers working with me. I got the color, options, and from that I wanted for a great price. I still had to pay TTL. Hope it helps.

IF the 4Runner gets the new Tacoma's engine, I would steer clear of it and is why I bought the 17 rather than a chance new design. The Tacoma went off the rails as a new design. 220K recalls for differential leaks to differential failures with no cure in sight except tightening bolts. The parts are not there to fix them all and the dealer HAS to KEEP your truck until it is fixed.

I traded my 16 Tacoma Sport into my Honda dealer for a SR5 Premium 4Runner, and have since traded it for a new 17 Limited. I never liked the 3.5 and it's slush box of a transmission. Plus the howling and whirring noises were not comforting. The 4Runner gets 20 MPG vs the 21 I got in the Tacoma. So much for both Direct and port injection.

I have had 4 Tacomas. The last being the only one I sold to buy a different vehicle.
