I'm in negotiations for a 2018 ORP in super white with KDSS and moonroof. Sticker is $43,134. I've got them down to $40,900 OTD. Am I in a good place here?

I've been watching pricing for this config since I am shopping for the same. Scroll up a few pages and find this post by SilverGizmo (apparently without any trade or financing gravy on top for the dealer). That price does not look particularly good - but depends on what is included in the OTD figure. Is this a model the dealer has on their lot?

I should mention I’m in Virginia. Based on my research it looks to be more than a fair deal. Super white or nautical blue!?

Lol, I drove from Florida to VA to get my nautical blue, closest place that had one. So you can say I am a bit bias towards the blue.
Well, technically I was already in the DC area, but had no intentions right then to get a 4R, then bam, this beauty was for sale, not even delivered to the dealer yet, bought it right away, traded the car I drove up in, drove back to FL in the 4r. But I was looking in the SE region to purchase one, a blue premium trail, no one had one until I saw the one in VA.

I think that's a decent deal. I just purchased a the same model. I couldn't get them to budge below $40k with added KDSS and moonroof option in the white so I negotiated options. I figured if they couldn't go down because they are accounting for options added to invoice than I will negotiate options like TRD wheels, roof cross bars, whatever you prefer within reason.
Where I live they had several TRD OR Premiums to choose from but none with configuration. Those were selling for $37-$40k and I bet I could have wiggled them down to close to invoice.
For this configuration I think it's a tough road because they know we are asking for a pro with a sunroof with added KDSS.

Just picked my wife's 2018 sr5 premium 4 runner for 35k before taxes sticker price was 42k. Got everything she wanted and more so we are happy
Scottsdale, AZ.
I think I could have gotten another $700 off. I miscalculated my OTD number while I was there.

I will be picking up a premium sr5 this week. Sticker was 39979, including running boards, moon roof, matts. They threw in a 500 dollar wax job and interior coating as part of a Memorial Day promotion. I don't think it is worth anything really. Anyway the cash off was 2200. This was the same cash off with a trade or not. I think they gave me a square deal on my trade in car.
By the way, one dealer was giving me 2000 for my trade, and maybe even 3000 as a I walked out of the dealership. They said to call because maybe they could go even higher maybe. Anyway the second dealer gave me a true 9000. The first dealer was the typical high presssure sign now kinda place. Scammers first class. Their tactics were close to criminal.

After studying this thread and reaching out to many of the contributors, I finally made a deal earlier this month. The dealership had to secure the truck as it was being shipped from Japan & thus I waited 3 weeks. I held off on posting in case things fell through when I arrived at the dealership.
I picked up my 2018 MGM TRD Off-Road Premium (2 miles on the odo) last Saturday from Milton Ruben Toyota in Augusta, GA. The service they provided was top notch and I paid the earlier agreed upon price which was 12.5% off MSRP. Had a great time driving the 4Runner 500 miles back to Tampa!
