How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

There's a reason it's been sitting there for so long they've boosted it over $6500. If they were serious they'd eliminating the DMA. Man that is the highest sticker I've seen for the least optioned trdp, even more so than the dealer in CO who at one time had 11 on the lot.

I’m in the Denver area and working through a broker have a deal working for a 2018 TRDORP w/ KDSS and moonroof for $38,786. MSRP was $42,975.

What do you guys think? Fair price for a TRDORP as equipped? Anything else you would try to negotiate for?

Just bought a new 2018 Limited 4WD with a $46K sticker for a bit over $40K/ $44K our the door from a Central Florida dealer. Only real option is the pull out cargo floor. Very happy so far.

I paid msrp plus 895" green care car package"for my 18 Pro. So basically $895 for a full tank of gas and some stickers behind the door handles. I did get free key code or what ever it's called and the OEM rubber mats. I love the ride, done a decent amount of upgrades so far. I bought it in a white and took awhile, passed up the blue color a few times. If I still lived back in Hawaii, I probably would of got it but not for the mtns.

If you want to stay in California, that's a great deal. If you want the exact same truck for thousands less, shop out of state.

Although I'm not having much luck getting the dealers here in Reno/Carson City to come down to 10% off.

Oregon has some good deals. Lithia Toyota in Medford is who I have gotten the best quotes from so far. Right about 10% off.

What is the MSRP? It's hard to compare if we don't know that.

I was at the local Toyota dealership here in Central FL yesterday for my 5,000 service when I saw this PRO in the showroom. Surprisingly they said it’s been sitting in the showroom for a month! It’s a beautiful Calvary Blue and I believe the red & black pin stripes are custom (this dealership frequently adds pin stripes to their vehicles). Normally I’m not a huge fan but they complement the TRD nature of the truck beautifully! Also notice the knobby 265/70/17 Nittos, Rear Pull Out Cargo Tray, Roof Rack Cross Bars, & paint protection (clear bras).

They said that at the moment there isn’t the demand for the Pros like there normally is (a bit hard for me to believe). If that is truly the case for this unicorn then this may work in your favor when it comes to negotiating a final price.

The dealership is Wesley Chapel Toyota (an hour north of Tampa). They were my first stop when I was looking for my TRD ORP. The Sales Manager Luis Veas is absolutely terrific & even though I ultimately found the best deal for my baby in Georgia, I would highly recommend Luis! His main line is 813-973-8888. PM me for his cell & email. Tell him Glenn sent you.

They were willing to discount my ORP 6.3%, but like I said the dealership I bought from in GA sold me my baby for 12.5% off. Seeing that it is at the end of the month and this PRO has been sitting in the show room for a month now, the stars may be aligned, which you’ll need unless you’re willing to pay the $55k sticker! This dealership pushes a lot of Toyotas so I think they’d be willing to work with you.

What? Got my 17 Cement for 43k plus tax. Only crap I let them add on was all weather mats, crossbar, and remote start. I said no to remote start and they gave me an extra TRD rim for spare. Plus they gave me swag.

No trade in but finance through them, month later refinanced through credit union.

Oh $400 one way flight and one hell of a drive back to California! Best thing I ever did was go out of state. The trip alone back was priceless!! Not to mention owning 1 of 2 I know to be here.

Also blue and the new voodoo aren’t my style and suppose others too, hence it sitting. Add in inflated price and obnoxious pin stripes that truck won’t sell!!

Had a deposit down on a 2012 Trail and the dealer proceeded to sell it out from under me. Pretty aggravated to say the least. It's re-opened the possibility of buying a new 4Runner though, with the intent to keep it for a good long while, so at least there's that. Been doing some shopping around and found a deal I might go for.



Here's what I'm looking at:

2018 TRD Off Road Premium

Magnetic Gray (not my ideal color but one I can live with)

Sunroof

Cargo net

Door edge guard (didn't really want this)

Exhaust tip (also didn't want this)

Roof rack cross bars



MSRP is $41,443

Sale price is $36,450 + $599 dealer doc fee + tax/title/reg



Dealer also offered a 2019 for $700 more, but I haven't gathered that there's much (if anything) different about the 2019s.



How's that deal sound? From what I've seen in this thread it seems pretty solid, but just hoping to get an extra bit of input.

Is it the same dealer that sold the Trail or from under you? If it is is make them drop the doc fees as a penalty. Also worth asking what they can trade from another dealer to get the color you want.

I paid 37k plus $169 doc fee so I'd say that's a pretty good deal. I've only seen a few others that were better and maybe by a few hundred bucks.

That's interesting about offering the 2019 at $700 more. I thought the MSRP on the Off Road Premium was remaining largely unchanged (and no additional features)

At least you have some ORPs down in CT. There are none within 50 miles of greater Boston at the moment...at least in the config I want (KDSS and moon roof)

Yes, that is a pretty solid deal. Are both dealers conveniently located to you? I got two years standard maintenance included which I think is regular Toyota policy for these.

I would probably go with the 2019 if you aren't in a hurry. If you ever go to resell it the fact that its a 2019 vs 18 will probably help the resale by more than 600 (even though they are the exact same truck). Are these prices including the $1k rebate? Because I am guessing Toyota will pull the rebate as soon as the 19's hit the lot.

They don't have much incentive to make deals on the new trucks. They'd much rather clear the lot of the 18s before the 19s land.
