How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

Just bought 2018 TRD Off Road Premium with Moonroof, cargo liners/tray. Sticker was $41,289, I paid $38,500 before tax, title, etc...

Really happy with it.

Trust me I tried this route, she insisted on the Pro, its her money and her truck so she got what she wanted. It should get delivered in a week or 2.

I think she might have gotten that from me when I was looking for my GT350, yeah I could have gone for just a 5.0 but I wanted the GT350R so there you go, lol.

Yeah, but there are actual differences between the 350 and the plain old GT. The flat crank voodoo engine with nearly a hundred more horsepower and different torque curve, magne-ride suspension system, larger Brembo brakes, track-focused wheels and tires, etc. Trying to convert a GT into a GT350 would be financially unviable and frankly, stupid.

A TRD Pro is literally the same 4Runner as an Off-Road premium. Toyota and dealers just figured out a way to make people pay $10-15K more for it.

Cost 2013 sr5?

I am pretty new to this and I enjoy reading all these comments from those more seasoned with 4 runners. I owned a 2001 and 2006 4 runner and wheat to highlander for Wife. Anyway finally convinced her into another and after an exhaustive search I found a 2013 leather sr5 3rd row with nav
Car was priced at 25940 with 79000 miles
I found it almost the day it was traded in and he next day they went up in the price on dealership website saying they underpriced it. They said they would honor original price at 25940. Curious if that seems right? And most people on this site don’t seem to be worried about that mileage in used 4 runner. Just trying to ease my mind in this purchase

KBB for that car reads as follows. I'm not in the car business but 5k seems like a lot. Are they offering an extended warranty of any sort?
$21,220
Trade-in Value
$20,162 - $22,277
Trade-in Range

No warranty.
But I am in Tennessee and that seems about the average cost and I have looked for weeks. Thanks

I think I'm going to go ahead with the deal I posted about 2 pages back:

2018 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium
Magnetic Gray
Sunroof
Cargo net
Door edge guard
Exhaust tip
Roof rack cross bars

Base MSRP: $39,895
Options: $1,253
Total MSRP: $41,443

Sale price: $36,450
+ $599 fees (+$1 for tags I believe)

Total: $37,050 + tax

Congrats. So after all the dealer hassle you've experienced, who did you end up buying from?

Thanks! This will be Berlin City in Portland, Maine. Further than I wanted to drive, but having bought my last car in Chicago this is effectively right around the corner.

They're only $200 higher for the deal I have in place and the vehicle is still in transit, so I can't complain. I did have some trouble getting a response from the dealer but should it work out I'll just be happy the whole process is over and done with...and then I can just enjoy it and know I'll have it for a damn long time.

What financing is everyone seeing/getting these days?

2.4% for 5 years from my local credit union. When I told the manger at the dealer he flat out said he couldn't match it. Just cost me a bit of time going back and forth for the paperwork and check.

California Sucks

The prices you all are paying is amazing!!! I live in SoCal, Orange County to be more specific

I just bought a White TRDORP w/ the following:

KDSS kit
Tilting Moonroof
Predator tubes
Rubber and carpet floor mats
Rubber cover for the trunk
Tano cover
Door edge guards
Cross bars on the roof rack

Out the door price with tax and licensing $44,114.31. That's after $1000 trade in.

I'm really sick of shopping. Have found two great deals out of state but both dealers have lost trust when trying to finalize the deal - enough that I have a good sense the deal won't be good when I arrive. Not sure how people are comfortable traveling out of state to purchase. Unfortunately, I have to buy out of state to get kdss.

You must live in Texas, Louisiana? Frickin Gulf States Toyota. I’m having to do the same thing. Outfit I’m talking to won’t pay to ship it to me. Thay quoted me $37,800 for an ORP with KDSS (MSRP: $42,214). I’m not sure what I’m going to do.

Any Austin area dealer hookups? I'm in the hunt for a white TRD ORP, with or without KDSS. I hit up AutoNation Toyota on the south side and Charles Maund Toyota up north for ones they have in stock\sitting on the lot but they won't budge at all on the price. Neither one has KDSS.

One has the blackout package (VIN JTEBU5JR0J5596878) - they're asking for $41,000 out the door (MSRP $45,562).

The non blackout package (VIN JTEBU5JR6J5592592) - they're asking for $40,290 out the door (MSRP $42,694...Final Price $37,659 + TTL).

Based on what I'm reading on this thread, there is a lot of room to work, but no one at the dealership wants to budge.

You contacted TWO whole dealers in your neighborhood and neither of them wants to work with you? Oh man, I think you're stuck. Just gonna have to pick one, there definitely aren't any other options.

I contacted five but the others don’t wanna play ball. Appreciate your valuable input.

Five? My mistake, you mentioned two. Good God man, you're living in one of the last bastions of free market capitalism. Act like it! There are hundreds of Toyota dealerships if the ones two miles from your house aren't willing to do business with you.

Decide the features important to you. Add a burner email address on Gmail and start searching on on Cars.com. Set up filters to narrow it down, sort by price, location, whatever. Send out mass emails expressing interest in their inventory (the burner email is so they don't clog up your regular inbox). If the dealer tries to sell you something other than what you want just because they have it on the lot, tell them to kick rocks.

Set up a spreadsheet with final contenders. Email it out to your strongest prospects and ask for their best possible price. Start a bidding war and choose the best offer. Here's the list I made after whittling down dozens of other cars and dealers.

After I made my choice, I flew in and the dealer picked me up from the airport in my truck. I was inside of a dealership for a total of one hour during my search (to sign my paperwork), then I drove home.

Don't walk into a dealer in shorts and flip flops asking why their stickers are five thousand higher than you think they should be. They get dozens of tire kickers a day. Communicate that you're ready to buy, and if you don't like their price, walk out and find someone else. Thanks to the internet you don't have to do that in person anymore.

Austin area won't have KDSS unless you order or get extremely lucky. I spent 6 months searching. I ended up going out of state and recommend you do the same if you are looking for KDSS. Colorado had best prices. 41 otd for orp w KDSS and moon
