How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

Seems like a solid deal to me, as long as there isn't a huge destination or dealer fee attached to it
Nope just taxes and tags....Is kdss a more desirable feature....I’m just thinking down the road if i needed to trade in....I don’t necessarily need it but I like what I’ve read about it... thanks
Preference on KDSS truly depends on the buyer. It's definitely a high-ticket option, so if you're considering one with vs without and don't care about the implications for it in terms of lifting the truck, I'd say go for it. That said, I can't attest to how it helps in terms of resale, but if you like what it does for the handling and can afford it then it can't hurt to opt for it.

Bought a new 2018 TRD Pro last week. Cavalry blue with running boards, chrome exhaust tip and all weather mats (including one for the rear cargo area). Had 20 miles on it upon delivery
MSRP was $45,026. After some back and forth, was able to get it for $44,500

With all the options listed - decent deal. I bought mine a few weeks ago with KDSS, moonroof and running boards for $37.9. MSRP for mine was $43.2, so right in the same range

From dealer pictures popping up now instead of the stock cartoon car, it's obvious that mandatory running boards is a myth. It also appears, but not as clear to me yet, that the cargo also may not be mandatory.

I'm from Austin and they ALL will negotiate - except the PRO. I bought a 2018 OR back in February for about 4k off MSRP. I posted this in this thread earlier but give this a shot.

Go on newcars.com and search a big enough radius to see if what models and options the dealers have and what you are interested in. Then draft up the email above. One you get a quote you are good with, make sure to ask OTD price.

New to the forum, this is my first post. I just picked up my first 4runner last night, 2019 TRD OR premium, with sunroof and floor mats in midnight black. I found this thread very helpful when approaching the sales staff and wanted to share how it went for me. I was trading in my 2016 tacoma, so my experience was different than most.
I paid 37,800 for the new 4 runner, but took a beating on my trade in (31,500 for my taco, with only 16K miles on it).
Here in Montana they are treating the 2019 models like golden unicorns, and it was hard to get them to acknowledge their stupid high sticker prices ($41,400 was the listed price for my truck). I'm sure if I'd waited a few months til all of the 2018's were gone, I could have negotiated a slightly lower price.
Anyways, thanks all for contributing to this thread, it's been very helpful.
