I am from Socal myself and am in the process of negotiating with cerritos and south bay toyota for a 2019 4runner TRD OR. Where did you go to get your car for 40k OTD?

I bought mine at Toyota Place in Garden Grove, it was a TRD OR 4x4 with nerf bars, nav, KDSS it's through the Costco program.. discount was $1250 plus Toyota $1000 rebate... for invoice was $38,750 so... my price with discount was $36,500 OTD $40,046..

There is a 2018 Red SR5 Premium 4x4 that's still there.. I bet they really want to move it.. that's if you want Red and SR5 4x4.. it was there when I bought my car in Late September

Waited almost 2 months searching for someone who had the specific color+options we wanted on allocation, but finally picked up a 2019 ORP (KDSS, sunroof, sliding cargo tray) today for about $45k and change OTD, from Carson Toyota.

2018 TRD ORP with KDSS Super White color, MSRP was $43,100 negotiated down to $38,665 at Novato Toyota CA. Twas $41,xxx and change OTD. Pretty happy.

Does this include any of the cash back incentives they were offering on 18's?

I have one quote for 36.5+tax for TRD OR w/KDSS (2018). I have another for 39k+tax TRD ORP 2019 no KDSS, w/moonroof and paint film which I'm indifferent about.

I feel like the 36.5k is a great deal from what I've seen. Just on the fence whether I prefer premium or KDSS because I can't get a good deal with both. The kdss rides like butter but am slightly concerned about lack of maintenance expertise available in my area and unlikely repair costs.

Not the best deal, but it seemed like most dealerships in the area only had sr5's on hand.

If you'd like a newbies opinion, I'd rather have the KDSS than not. We test drove both an SR5 and the TRD ORP we just bought and I felt more comfortable maneuvering with KDSS. Of course, this is always anecdotal so take it as you will.

Also, from what I've been able to gather during my research, the chance that something will go wrong with the KDSS is pretty slim. I only remember seeing positive threads about it; I don't remember seeing any threads where people are having issues.

Just purchased a 2019 TRD Offroad with sunroof, No KDSS no running boards. MSRP was 43,208.00 was able to get it for 35980.00 out the door with taxes and other criminal patronage fee's here in Chicago was just at 40,000.00
