Do you want the dealer options? Looks like about 9.5% savings. Or around 6.5% with $1061 in free dealer add-ons, whichever way you prefer to look at it. 9.5% is a little under what seems to be average, but it depends on where you live. Some areas discount a little more, others a little less.
It would be best for you to look through the last 5-10 pages of this thread to compare and see how you feel about the deal.
I'm new here and this is my first post. Hi everybody! I've been reading this thread because I'm about to buy my 4th 4Runner and my first new one. I've loved the 3rd gen and two 4th gens I've had but just sold one of my 4th gens and I like to have a backup vehicle and so I think I'm going to keep my other 4th gen (2007 SR5) and have been shopping for a 2019 MGM ORP with sunroof ,running boards and softex. No KDSS, cargo tray or roof crossbars. I found a new one and they quoted me what I thought was a fair price on Friday but they sold it that night unfortanately before I could see it.
But they contacted me and said they found an identical one at another dealer and would bring it in if I was still interested and would honor the price quoted. I said I was and scheduled to see it tomorrow. They said I am under no obligation to buy it though because they do this kind of thing with other dealers often.
This one had an MSRP of 41,900 and a quoted price of 36,900 so about a 12% discount. But that includes a Toyota black friday thing at about 1500 that ends tomorrow. But I'm ready to buy so I think I should take advantage of that.
I'm in a position to pay cash if the deal works better for me but will finance if they can keep my interest to under 4% which wouldn't be hard to do if I do it myself but if they can't I'll pay cash.
Correct me if I'm wrong but that seems like a pretty reasonable price for what appear to be a very limited supply of 2019s left in my configuration (especially in my area)?
My OTD should be a little less than $40,000 with tax, title and doc fees.

Pretty good deal if you ask me. Almost identical deal that I got on mine. Like you said, there is a limited supply of 19’s left and they are becoming fewer and fewer every day. Especially when you start being specific about colors and options. I’d say go for it!

I know you are talking about a 2020 but Based on the deal I got on my ‘18 when I bought it, I say no. I pulled the email:
VEHICLE MSRP IS $44,352.00
INTERNET PRICE is $38,999.00
TAVT tax cost is $2,734.20
Your Toyota True Drive-Out Price is $42,509.63
I looked online and could get the same deal on a 2020.

Oh wow. Which state and dealership? Do you think the deals will get better for December?
I may just not get the extras. Which leaves me with a price of $41,294 ($45,489 msrp) for a TRD OFP with Kdss, Moon roof and floor mats. Getting to 9.2% off was like pulling teeth with the dealer. I want to get to 11% but not sure if that's doable in the far west suburbs of IL.

Try Garber in fox lake. They were 2k less than every dealer in the Chicago NW burbs when I bought my 19. Didn't buy my 20 there as they sold the pro I was looking at and waited to long to pull the trigger

GA. Toyota of Newnan. Sales are ok, their finance guy is a prick. Didn’t go there to make friends though, just get a good deal.
I just got a 19 Pro from a different dealer and got 4600 off.
Best time to deal is end of the month bc they need to meet their quota/numbers.

I’m shopping dealers too. I am only looking at 2020 ORP w/KDSS + moonroof..I got 8.5% off MSRP but not sure how much better I can get, I don’t think much. Wondering what else I could possibly try to negotiate other than price off MSRP.

I posted my first post 1 page back about how I was wanting to buy a new 2019 TRDORP in a pretty specific configuration (color/options) and I found one but the dealer sold it it before I could get there. But since I was already in contact with them they contacted me and said they thought they could find another one identical or possibly with even more options for the same price and asked if I'd be willing to come in if they could but I'd be under no obligation even if they did. I was interested and went in last night (highly skeptical they could pull it off) after work. I was looking for a very specific 2019 config with 2020's coming on and I knew it was a long shot.
But I'll be darned. It was even better one (had all weather mats throughout and roof rack crossbars which the other didn't) and everything else was spot on to a T. They said the price was the same as quoted and I said let's do it. I also got the $1500 black friday (or maybe they called it Keep it Wild Savings?) which ended yesterday.

But they offered the Toyota (not third party) extended 10yr/100 warrantee for $1750 and I went for that too. I am not a fan of third party warranties but this is Toyota's so...

Hi all, 1st time Toyota and a new 2020 TRD PRO owner. I paid MSRP 51K because I am in SoCal, these SoCal dealers would not deal. After 2 weeks of searching and visiting countless dealers, 1 dealer sold it to me for MSRP.
But so far this PRO has been nothing but trouble, alignment was off from the lot, the dealer fixed it but they washed the PRO, even though I specifically told them not to, and now the paint surface is effed up.
All in all, love the way it drives.

Question for you guys as I can't create a new thread for being a new member.
My girlfriend and I went to look at a 2020 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium with KDSS, sunroof, all weather mats, car seemed great, but when the AC was on, with the car fully warmed up, the at rest idling would stumble when the AC compressor/fan kicks on. Is this normal for this vehicle? For other vehicles, the answer would be a no and to walk away, but since I don't know any thing about this SUV, I figured I'd come here and ask the more seasoned folks. Any help is appreciated.
Also, I'm aiming to get the TRD ORP for sub 42K before TTL. They want 43.7K, but I think a squeeze is there. I'm surprised many of you are able to get it below invoice, which for an ORP is like 39K.
