How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

10% off not bad but not the best either, if you wait you can probably get better deals. Or look further away? I found better deals outside of Seattle area.

I’ve messaged about 12-15 dealers around 3 hours in each direction and haven’t been able to find better. I don’t really think I’d wanna travel much farther than that unless there were major further savings which maybe with enough time and luck I could find but for a couple hundred bucks probably not worth the time and effort. If I could save 2,000 or something it’s a different story but seems like a real long shot

New ORP

I just signed on a new mag gray ORP north of Boston. MSRP was $44.10 and agreed on 39.99 so a little more than 9% off. Got my own financing for 2.19% apr...... has moonroof and mats and am going to order black valances and trd pro upper grill and dealer agreed to swap out at their cost. Can’t wait to get her home.

I have been viewing this forum for several months as I have a lease up in a few months and have been debating buying a new 4runner or CPO GX460. My question is if I go with the 4runner I would be looking at the Limited 4x4 model. I see in Ohio there are about 10 or so 2019 Limited still on the lots. So a few questions:

1. given the timing and lack of car sales would starting my negotiations at 20% below msrp be about right? or should I be doing more/less?

2. Any major differences between the 19 or 20?

3. Should I wait a bit and then get a 20?

I am in the drivers seat as my lease isn't up until August so I can buy today, next week, or in 3 months. I am not in need of them buying my lease out either so that is a non issue as I have a child that can drive it until I turn it in.

Yeah, here in Socal, the best offer for an OR or ORP I've recieved is ~10% off MSRP.

Although i think the reference to targetting 20% off is for the '19 he was thinking about getting. In which case that makes sense.

2020 Venture Ed w/KDSS and sunroof

MSRP $47135. Got them down to $42699+ tax,doc,fees. So a little less than 10% On a Venture ed. with KDSS and sunroof for options. Located in southern-central Maine. Offered $40k to a bunch of dealers for the same vehicle but none would bite so I jumped at the lowest I could get.

In March, I bought a new 2019 ORP with KDSS but no sunroof (which I wanted) for $35k. Out the door price after taxes, dealer fees, and the trade in of my 14 year old Honda Pilot was a little over $38k.

First time back on forum in 6 years! Sold my '13 T4R Limited in '14 and have been driving an '18 Tacoma TRD Pro, OV tuned for the past 2 1/2 years. I can't take it anymore! Nice truck but horrible auto tranny, shifts whenever it damn well pleases. Ready to get back into a Runner.
Thought I wanted to stay Pro ('20) and worked a "deal" $2900 off MSRP. Sounded great but when they quoted my Tacoma trade value, it was more than $6K less than another dealer was giving me toward a '20 ORP w/ sunroof AND KDSS. So here's my question: Is $4500 off MSRP on the ORP as stated ($46K offered at $41.5K) reasonable? They offered me pretty top dollar for my trade ($36.8K) and I'm thinking I might like the KDSS ride as well, or better, than the Pro. Also, it's local (30 miles away) and there are no other ORP's w/ KDSS within another 200+ miles. Thoughts? Thanks, and it's good to be back!

That is why I dumped my 2018 Taco and went back to a 4Runner.

After contacting majority CA dealerships & some Arizona, Nevada and Idaho, purchased 2020 ORP Mag Gray w/KDSS & w/Moon. It was a lot longer process than I would have thought during these times but had a very good experience with Pete @ Elk Grove, CA.

MSRP: $46k
Selling Price: 11.5% off (which includes Toyota $500 Disc) + Doc, Reg and Tax (their doc fee was $85)

I'd take it. KDSS is a game changer on road. The only reason to get a Pro is if you have to have an exclusive color.

Great deal imo for our area. I finally caved and got a super white ORP with KDSS and Moon 46k MSRP and I ended up getting 10.5% off MSRP and the black badging thrown in.

So you did slightly better than me but after contacting so many dealers I was just ready to be done.

felt generous with buying my 2020 4Runner Venture

Considering this whole Covid-19 situation and the impact that it is having on dealers, I felt generous and paid the dealer's cost (I saw their 'invoice'.), and I let them keep their holdback/wholesale financial reserve. I didn't even play too much hardball with my trade-in (although I didn't let them 'steal' it from me) - considering the woman who rear-ended me last year (just a cracked rear bumper that had to be replaced) put a permanent black mark on my 2017 Avalon's CarFax report.

Just picked up a white TRD Offroad with KDSS for 10.75% off MSRP. Very happy with the price and how easy it was to do the entire process through emails.

Just picked up a 2020 TRD pro in white for 3000 off msrp - 500 shipping to me - called the dealer in texas that was doing 46.5k but they got hit by a hail storm and the cars got damaged.
