How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

You still want to negotiate the purchase price on a lease. What trim was quoted? What is the sales price at that lease rate?

This was for an SR5 Premium.
Yes it's $431/Month including TTL and all associated fees. This is the best quote I've gotten through a broker. Other quotes I've gotten $519/month, and $697/month (yikes), all for an SR5 premium.

The actual sales price of the car I have not gotten, but I can ask for it

Are you working through a 3rd party broker instead of dealer direct? Usually it's to your advantage to negotiate the sales price first, and then move to monthly cost. With a lease, it's more straightforward as you're dealing with money factor and residual. You'll want to know sales price and money factor or residual at the end of the term to calculate money factor. This will help you to best understand how good the lease rate is. For example, @431/month you are going to put at most 14k against the price of the vehicle, probably less. So when it's time to buy at the end of the term the original purchase price becomes critical.

Just picked up a stock Gray ORP yesterday from Olympia. MSRP 42920, sale price was 38,7XX. They were slammed with a lot of people yesterday. Was quoted 40,XXX and 41,XXX from I-5 Toyota and Vancouver Toyota. Surprised no larger deals, but ~10% off seemed good to me

WTH, they gave me the run around at 43k and wouldnt budge, do you have the dealers name ?

Are you paying cash, or bringing outside financing? If they aren't making anything on the financing they try to get it up front.

If the answer is yes, you can always finance then pay it off right away (or refi out of their crappy apr).

Anyone have experience with the 6 months no payments offer?
I'm thinking of going for the 6 months no payments then paying it off...does Toyota charge an application fee for something like this?

Deals here making me a bit jealous. Barely hearing back from dealers in the bay area and most want over MSRP.

You're not far away from Socal or PNW dealers... make a road trip out of it. Can stop at some fun places to test your new ride on the way back home.

I've reached out to other dealerships for an SR5 Premium and they all quoted me a much higher lease payment than what the broker gave me. I already got a buyout price of $28.7K at the end of the lease so everything seems to be working out in my favor.

You can get at least $4000 off MSRP without even trying hard from Freeman Toyota in Santa Rosa. Then use that as leverage to match or get a better deal from your local dealer. That’s what I and some other Bay Area members had to do.

You are probably around 40k for purchase price, then. Which is where my local dealership is priced for an SR5P before negotiation (MSRP is ~42/43).

Long time reader, first time poster and have been following this thread closely.

Currently in a 07 SR5 and I have been looking at new 4runners for the past year and a half and now ready to purchase. Finally went into a dealership to talk and this was the deal before I had to walk out. More wiggle room to get a better deal? Thoughts?

TRD Off Road Premium in MGM or Super White. Non KDSS. W/ moonroof.
MSRP: $44024
Sales Price: $39500 which includes the $1000 TMS
OTD: $44,156

Seems like inventory is getting low for most dealers due to Covid19 causing factories to shut down and cargo ship containers on hold. Not many super whites left in stock with the options I want. Prefer white over gray. In the Phoenix area if that matters.

Check with camelback toyota. Kind of the go to out here for Runners and LC's. Parts department is pretty tits too. Anyways they might have a few more then other dealers in the valley. Shop around tho.

I work @ Toyota down here in FL. I paid $35,500 for mine. 2020 TRD OFF-ROAD.
Now if only the dealer would pay for my Rigid Lights haha :vader:
Ill post some photos when it's done.

The price is OK, I think you can do a bit better though. I got mine for around the same, but it has KDSS. Didn't have any toyota incentives for my area, just the 1.9% financing.
