Just picked up (yesterday) a Super White 2021 4Runner Off-Road Premium w/ KDSS, Moonroof, Cross Bars
From Larson Toyota in Tacoma, WA.

Brake Plus was initially $399 but negotiated $100 off. (didn't want but they wouldn't take it all off)
License fee was initially $922.75 because it included a $299 theft protection thing, told them to take that out of the price.

I thought it was a pretty good deal. Especially up here in the PNW. Almost all dealers would not move off of MSRP.
Not sure of what the actual invoice price is of this vehicle and spec. I would assume the selling price is pretty close to invoice.
Placed an order in November & picked it up last week. 2021 ORP, super white. Local dealer had to trade a TRD Pro for it.
MSRP: $46,572 (moonroof, sliding deck, TRD exhaust, paint protection film, cargo cover, rock rails, all weather floor liners)
Total OTD price: $47,900
Financed $20k at 1.99% locally
I still have zero respect for car salespeople and the finance people.
Had new tires installed yesterday, 2.5/1.5 supsension will go on in a couple weeks, rear cargo mat installed this weekend, seat covers and sprint booster go on next weekend. OEM Audio will be in the spring when things warm up enough, but might have to wait until summer (lack of time).
I tried to hold out for the 6th gen, but it kept getting pushed back while the mileage kept adding up on my old 2007 Nissan Pathfinder. Still very interested with what will be coming with the 6th gen.

If I had to pay MSRP, I may just bite the bullet and order a base Defender, and hope it lasts 200,000 miles. Lol

It's a service where the dealership will come to your house and put a boot on your truck in the middle of the night. Then you pay $300 to take it off.

1. $48467 ($47713 + $754 sales tax of 3% - Trade in was around $23500)
2. $1015 ($789 doc fee + $149 electronic fee + $77 title fee)
Total : $49,482. Just shy of $50k.
Not sure if I should have negotiated more, but I did get very good trade in value for my BMW 7 series, so I guess it all balanced out.

So a Koons VA dealer called me about a 4runner. Their doc fee is $899- said that's standard on all north va dealers?? I didn't say anything back, cause that's BS. there is no law on how much they can charge on a doc fee. Anyway, I couldn't agree on the price on the 4runner limited... so I will keep searching for now!

In New York State the dealership, by law, can only charge $74 for plates. Some of these quotes have doc. fees and plates at $600-$900.
Do you know how much beer and how many pizza's you can buy for $600?

Brake Plus was a dumb dealer add on that makes your third brake light blink multiple times when you brake.
Checkout darcarstoyota.com in silver spring. Their website says they have a limited in stock with redwood interior

I purchased my 2021 TRD ORP on 12/31/20. I negotiated a sale price of 43k, nearly 5 grand below MSRP (47.9k).
OTD $ was approximately 48k after deanship & DMV fees + sales tax (California) was added.
The vehicle was equipped with the following add-ons.

I’ve been searching for a Pro in Lunar Rock. Search brought me to Mark Jacobson Toyota in Durham. Called them and they said vehicle was available, but still in transit and a few days out. Said price was $55k and change without delivery, fees, taxes. Do not remember exact number. I Said nope. Did the “let me talk with my manager for best price” and we’ll email you quote.
Got email with written quote. Price was now $56879 without delivery, fees, taxes. I laughed. Called them just to see what was going on just for kicks and it was for dealer options. I asked what options and was told nitro, tint, and pinstripe. SMH...LOL. Nitro as in nitrogen in tires “for better wear.” I literally cracked up laughing in his ear and just thought not worth the effort. And I asked why on earth would you pinstripe a Pro, no real answer. I said since truck was still in transit just cancel the options, replied truck just showed up, like magic.
I got a good laugh out of it all at least. And obviously why the truck hadn’t sold like every other lunar rock in the system.

That's actually a pretty smart mod. The price is what's dumb- you can pick up adjustable flasher modules specifically for this purpose for a couple bucks.
