MSRP for a '21 lunar rock TRD Pro 2 weeks ago. Waited 2 months for delivery and went to Nebraska to pick it up from LA. Drove it back and made a road trip out of it.

I found an allocated 22 Lunar Rock ORP with premium package with softex and MTM, off road mats or however they phrase it, predator steps, paint protection film, sunroof and a few other things.
I paid full msrp. About 47k.... Should have it in 3-4 weeks.
Sucks, but used aren't much less. I've got 217k on my fj I bought new in 08. Ready for something new. Hopefully this will be as solid as the fj.

Curious for some input here on price as with today’s market it’s hard to tell whats a “good deal”. I’ve got a deposit down while my dealer is working a trade with another dealer for the 4Runner we discussed.

XP Predator Package (Pro Grille, Pro Wheels, AT Ridge Grapplers, Predator Steps, Black Emblems) - ~$3300
Int. LED Upgrade - $200
Dual Front USB upgrade with cables - $200
Hood/Bumper Protective Clear Vinyl - $800
Toyo Guard Platinum - $700
Heated Seats - idk price off the top of my head
Dealer Options (Market Adjustment) - Carpet mats, Window tint, lifetime power train warranty, paint protective coating - $2000

Thoughts on if this is good or not? Originally I wanted a ORP, but my fiancé is getting impatient on getting us a new vehicle for reliability purposes and bc she is without a car of her own, and thinks that its only going to get harder to find something and prices are going to keep going up.
Also thinking about leasing it instead since its not the ORP I originally wanted, of which he said a 3yr/12k lease is $685 a month (including tax).

Premier Toyota in North Platte, Nebraska. I flew in from California and drove it back, well worth it to save over $10k compared to CA prices.

Right now is the worst time to buy, especially a 4Runner. Love mine, but if I had to buy one right now I would look elsewhere till the market stabilizes. 54K is just too much. You could have had the same vehicle in the 30s not too long ago. I understand you "may" need a car right now, if you are thinking of leasing look for something else that isn't as in demand. Lease for 3 years and hunt down your 4Runner then. There are a few different guys on YouTube talking about the marketplace and what might be the best options for you right now.
44k for an Barca Red '21 ORP in May/June timeframe. Couldnt wait until the new ones came out, but damn was it hard to find any car in this market. Second thoughts on the trim / package that came with a car that was being delivered on the lot, and the car would have been sold that same day.

39.6K US (49.7K CDN.)for a brand new 2022 TRD ORP in Ontario Canada. Sure helps having family that works at Toyota. Got to love employee pricing.
Is that out the door price? That's pretty good. Looking at $55k here..

I wish. That's without the juice. MRSP for this model here is $54,670 CDN. I was $58,800 CDN out the door including HST, freight, delivery, PDI, a/c and tire tax and license. Still happy got it for just over $4700.00 CDN under MRSP thanks to my brother in-law.:canada:
