Bought mine in Phoenix Arizona August 18th at Camelback Toyota.

2006 Limited 4x4 V8 JBL/no nav. 110k miles. $16k

Immaculate condition inside and out. Engine and interior looked brand new. Full service/maint. records from the same dealership. New tires, timing belt changed, clean carfax no accidents.

Bought 1 month ago in Georgia. 2007 Sport 4WD 81k miles 1 owner and clean carfax. Paid $17.4k. Came with 3/4 tread Nitto Terra Grapplers, brand new front rotors/pads.

So that was you!! Lol I was pretty close on closing a deal with them at Nally Acura and was told someone came in a bought it on the spot.

Ended up getting a White 07 SE with 4x4, 73k miles, JBL sound package, black leather, new tires. $17.9 out the door

I got mine a month ago it's a 2004 V8 Limited 4x4 with 110,000km so about 70k miles I believe. I paid 13,000 CAN $ for it

Got it from a ford dealer that took back 3 cars from the same retired guy. The guy gave back his 4 runner, mustang, and corolla for a brand new Ford expedtion :doh: HEHE !

So that why the truck didn't run mutch for a 10 years old car ! I bought couple car trough the year even if im not 30 years old yet and this one is the cleanest truck Ive ever had. Evertyhing is in good or super shape !

only an electrical problem caused by a teared wire that was grounding on the frame ... !

2005 V8 SR5 4WD

Purchase Date: End of November

Location: St. Louis

Price: $12,780 OTD (Listed @ 13,990)

Mileage: 113,000 (Decent service records - Timing belt was done @ 87k)

Mechanically I saw nothing wrong. No rust. There are 8 small to large scratches here and there, had a body shop quote me right under $1,000 to fix it all (the right way).

All in all I'm happy but these things maintain their value very well, which is great for a seller and bad for a buyer.

Most dealerships, I say most, run the car thru their shop to make sure the car is up to par with safety standards.they check brakes, tires, wear and tear stuff leaks ect. That adds to the cost of the truck, to make it retail ready. Assumption would be a Toyota from a Toyota dealership is a better vehicle.That's a consumer mind set thing.

Talked the dealer down from $14,500...no timing belt. Everything else is pristine. The car was rated 97/100 for condition....according to some report the dealer showed me.

Side note: was looking at a dealer when a 2001 Limited w/78k was being traded. Sold for 13.9k before the trade was even done.

2003 v6 SportEdition 4wd. Silver. 17" wheels. 123k miles. Paid $10,000 - found it on Craigslist. Bought from original owner (retired couple) with all maintenance records. We're in North Carolina.

My wife and I have been tremendously blessed with this vehicle - very grateful for Lord providing it. It's been a blast driving on the beach for surf fishing in the Atlantic, pulling friend's boats/trailers, trails near Boone (impressed what a stock 4runner can do in 4Lo). Can hardly wait for the snow to come.

Not to mention typically has a warranty of some sort! Also if a reputable dealership most likely willing to take care of you if something goes wrong shortly after purchase if too many miles to offer a warranty.

I bought my 2005 v8 sport about 4 months ago from the original owners with just under 100k I paid $10,000. But I had to do all the maintenance on it. So I am guessing I am in it for just over 12,000 grand. I am from central Canada.

Nice! Wow, you really got them to sway! I think it's awesome how you have his and her models. Funny how you have the more power (V8) and the lux model, and the lady has the base model SR5 with V6.

I too did my research, examining KBB and NADA and using our in-house system at work (Credit Union) and I purchased the model for a fair price. But, I see a wide range in price... I'm hoping to see some NW (Wash or Oregon) peeps chime in....
