How much is a used locker worth?

Hello fellow members! How much do you guys think (just guesses are fine) a used ARB rear locker for our trucks is worth? I'm pondering replacing mine, and I just don't know how much I'll need in order to do so. Let's say mine has been used 20 times-ish, on the high side.

But I would think you might be able to get half of your money back for the used one.

Well i want to re-gear. But evidently, if I go to 4.56, I have to have a different model. Half would probably be reasonable, right?

I don't think there is a carrier break on Toyotas. it should be the same carrier for all gear ratios.

There seems to be different ARB lockers for the front differentials, which makes sense since if I remember correctly the front differentials are different between the V6 & V8. The rear axles should be the same.

^this. All the rear axles have the same carrier, the front is the one you have to worry about.

AH yes. that makes sense. sorry, I immediately went to the rear diff, and also still thinking in the SOLID FRONT AXLE mode, being that it takes the same 3rd.

I would say 1/2 of retail is fair. The case split is right at 3:73 so anything lower than that has a different deck height on the ring gear, needing a different case (locker in this situation). So if you have the 3:73 stock gears it is one locker part #, if you have lower 3:93, 4:11, etc, it is another locker.

It's a decent starting point for used stuff. Unless you're in a hurry for the cash I'd start at 60-65% and slowly come down until sells.
