How "pre-wired" am I?? (E-Locker Wiring Help Needed)

Yes, that one and the one shown in Post #1 are very similar. (minus the Red adjustments the OP made to the diagram)

WOW!! So today I began doing my locker wiring. I needed to get under the dash as I was thinking of how to run the wires to my factory e-locker switch. I decided that I should have ONE MORE LOOK behind the kick panel for the d*mn pre-wiring. I was laying on the floor on the drivers side with a flashlight and could see nothing as I moved the other harness's around with my hand. I was about to re-install the kick panel and I noticed a bunch of the "light green" wires which are a tell-tale sign of factory e-locker wiring. I reached in and felt around.... low and behold, I AM PRE-WIRED!!! The plug was taped and wrapped around the main harness completely hidden.

So, now onto my next dilemma. Seeing as how I am pre-wired I decided that following this write-up would be the easiest way to wire it Retrofit Electric Locker. I initially plugged in the 4WD computer and e-locker switch WITHOUT putting the truck in 4LO and I saw the dormant RR Diff Lock light on my dash illuminate and flicker. (flickering because the E-locker diff is not installed at this point so it is normal -> it is indicating that the locker is not engaged)

After following the write-up and running the specific wires back to go under the seat, grounding the blue/red wire (4LO safety trigger) and grounding the white/blck wire I tried the E-locker button again. This time nothing lit up. So my question is this: When I found the plug hidden behind my kick panel, it had all of the wires for the locker wiring running to it (just like in the photo in the write up above). So I cut the wires at the computer plug-in that I needed to run back to the locker and ran them accordingly. This means that there are obviously now 5 loose wire ends just floating under my dash. Where did those run to before? (I just taped the ends off and tucked them away) Why is the RR Diff Lock light on my dash now, NOT illuminating at all now? Any ideas????

It sounds like you didn't tap the yellow and blue wire but rather cut it off completely. If this true, just reattach the yellow and blue wire along with the wire from differential to terminal one on the ECU.

^ thanks again! Your definitely right.

Starting and completing a headlight projector retrofit + wiring up my e-locker in a 12 hour period = tired = mistakes

What do the wires with the arrows mean? Are they supposed to connect?
Are "7,10, and 8" supposed to all just come from the "white/black" wire on the lock detection switch?

Trying to understand this diagram..

The wires with the arrows means that it goes to earth. They are ground wires. Just ground them to the body.

I could also use some help on getting the ABS wires reconnected correctly on my '00 once I pull the locker harness. Anyone have wiring diagrams of how the abs works on an e-locker equipped t4r?

I am doing the elocker swap to.

How do you know if you are prewired ? Under the driver side kick panel. I didn't see no plug for the 4x4/elocker Ecu but it could be all taped up and hidden. I do see 2 plugs near where the RR DIFF LOCKER button goes. One is white and one is black. Going back to the rear seat next to the gas tank. I see two plugs. One white and one black. The black has nothing plugged in to it....

Out of the donor car, I didn't think ahead and cut out the oem switch, 4x4 Ecu brain, and the two plugs near the gas tank. I did however disconnect everything under the body that goes to elocker.

I will post pics what I have maybe someone could guide me a easy route.

The donor was 98 with push button. I have 97 5speed ( swapped )
