How TF do you even fix

so was in the middle of a timing belt job assembling everything back together, kinda happy everything was piecing together. And was having trouble with the bottom two bolts for the water pump. all the bolts are the same size but for some reason these two werent going in all the way, one was obvious the thread was giving way but the other when i went to tighten gave way. so took the cover off so that i could just time sert the holes and lo and behold, WTF!!!! how do you even fix this shit?!?!?!?!?

Devcon aluminum epoxy. Then redrill and retap. That would be what I would do.

The best option would be tig welding then drill/tap but getting that over to your engine may be difficult.

Found someone that says they can weld it, give that a shot.

Sidebar, was thinking if the weld didn’t take, shave down the broken thread area enough to put a nut and bolt setup from the inside of the timing cover out to hold the water pump in place, since it is the lower water pump bolt thread. Would be a pain cause you’d have to mount the water pump at the same time but just a thought. (For now)
