Hey boys and girls -
So I'm putting together a parts list for my JBL replacement and I've been doing a bunch of reading here on T4R.org. However, I've run into some confusion and conflicting info...
I currently have the 10-speaker JBL w/RDS in my 04'. I'm looking to bypass the factory amp (yes I will be running new wires, either directly from the HU or to the speakers from the amp to be installed below the seats).
I see that the TYTO-01 adapter is around $50 and is designed to retain the factory system. I was looking to simply use the factory harness for power/ground/ign.
Does anyone know if any other other Metra harnesses will fit this vehicle (i.e. will it plug into OEM wiring harness)? Again, I only need power/grnd but I'd rather not hack up my factory harness to get it, or waste $50 on an adapter that I'm only going to use 3 wires of.
