How to get out EFI sensor

I'm cleaning my MAF sensor tomorrow and was going to pull the EFI sensor today so see if I could and almost crushed it trying to get it out. I didn't see any clip or mechanism to unhook on the side, I thought it was just a pull and it would release, but I must have been wrong.

Am I just an idiot? (no comments please)

You are talking about the EFI relay right? It should pull out, not right out easily. I usually use my man grip and grab it and rock it back and forth a little, it will start to rock more and more as it starts to come out and it should eventually give way.
