how to get rear coil out

So i got my rear strut out and i've jacked up both ends where the disc are dangling. I am now having trouble with getting the rear coil out, spring compressors wont fit!

Have someone stand on the diff, or turn the spring compressor upside down or try just a couple turns of the coil with the compressor

Why are you messing with spring compressors on the rear springs? Just disconnect the rear sway bar links and droop the axle. Stock springs will just fall out at that point, if their not stock, you might need to unbolt the panhard and push the axle a little further down; I had to do this when installing my OLW 2.5" kit as the new springs were a tad taller than stock.

In my experience, after I disconnected the sway bar and both shocks, the rear end would go down enough to just pull the rear coils right out. You might put your foot on the brake drum and push down to help some.

I use my bottle jack to push the axle away by wedging it between the axle and bump stop. Works great!

is the rear sway bar connected to the axle, i just wanna make sure that im not disconnecting something that im not supposed to

4 bolts attach the rear sway. 14 mm I believe. Two brackets. Just follow the bar till you see them or disconnect it at the links.

Disconnect the rear swaybar links, the rear shocks and let the axle droop down, if you need more room then you can use a jack on one side of the axle (jacking up from underneath the axle) to raise it. The other side will lower when doing this. Just make sure you have removed shocks and disconnected the rear swaybar links on both sides as seen in the write up
