my 98 2 wheel drive dont have any grease fitting so how do i grease the u joints
they should be inside the u joint parts. ill go take a picture of mine and post them up. im pretty sure it should have them.
No grease fitting at all, someone told me that may be why I have that sshhhh noise when I let off the gas now i'm lost someone has to know how to fix that crazy noise
It's crazy but 2wd doesn't have them.....
If you had used punctuation, I'd have linked you to the TSB that explains 2WD shafts don't get greased. but u didnt
Really thought this was a help forum not a English class. If you can't help with the problem that's ok but no need in being a.... well you know
Drop one end and pull it apart to grease the slip yoke.
4WD 4Runners have a slip joint in the driveshaft, which has a zerk fitting. What you're describing is a slip joint. The OP's 4Runner doesn't have a slip joint.
2wd 4Runners have a slip yoke which slides into the tail end of the transmission. The slip yoke is lubed by the transmission fluid, in the trans. There is nothing to lube on stock a 2wd 4Runner driveshaft.

Thanks, that leads me to the next question what else in the drive line could make that sshhhhh sound. It only happens when I let of the gas and goes away when I mash the gas
