How to hook up tail lights for towing T4R

I need to rig up my new 2008 4WD T4R tail lights so I can tow it behind a MH. It looks like it did come with the new LED tail lights.
Does anyone know what works best to do this?

Can I tie the MH wiring directly into the T4R tail light wiring? (Tail & L/R blinker). Is the T4R elect system diode protected so no damage will occur to it?

I'm assuming this new LED fixture will be too small to drill a hole and insert the typical old-style large tail light bulb which could then be wired directly to the MH and therefore isolated from the T4R wiring.

Has anyone already done this or at least knows the T4R electrical system well enough to advise me?

Know it doesn't address your question BUT I thought you couldn't flat tow a 4WD Automatic (without causing damage) unless you disconnected the drive shafts or installed an autotrans luber? Assuming you're past that - why not just use the magnetic or hang on lights?
