How to remove tail lights and corners

I bought some clear corners the other day, but have not received them yet. I did however try to take off the ones that are on there now. I could get to the top screw, but could not figure out how to get to the bottom one. (There are only two right?) Anybody know how to do this?

I also noticed that my left brake light went out. When I tried to take off the housing I could unscrew the two screws, but then I tried to pull it off and it would not come off. What else should I do? I didn't pull really hard because I did not want to break anything.

as for your clear corners, (parking lights) u were half there, remove the screw and pull the light straight forward away from the vehicle. there is a little pop rubber pice on the bottom, yes it will be a bit hard but you should not brake anything.


i belive you have to open your talegate and remove the plastic pannel behind your tail lights, and their should be wired and 4 nuts holding your tail lights on.


i have never messed with the lower lights on the front (the lowewr clear corners) so i cant help u with that

For your tail lights just open the tail gate and you will see 2 screws. Unscrew them and pull the tail light to the left or right, depending on what side you are on. As for the clear corners just unscrew the screw at the top, put your hand flush with the vehicle, and slap it to the front and they should come out as well. It will be tough but you won't break anything.

Thanks for the information guys. I got the tail light bulb replaced and am just waiting on the clear corners and bumper lenses to come in.

Bumper lenses just have 2 screws each. Another technique that works for the corner lenses is to push them to the outside once the screw is removed. This is the easiest method I have found

I had to go cheap with it, I bought some regular red bulbs from auto zone. I am going to be buying an LED light to fit in there so it will be red and not pink lol.

Ok. It just doesn't look like you can see any red when the lights are off (which is a good thing). I like them to look clear without the "hazy" look you can get with colored bulbs. Has you experienced any of that or can you not see the color through the lens?
