How to replace front panel lights

Some of the boring green front panel lights on my "99 T4R are out. I'd like to replace them all with better lights of a different color. Has anyone done this? If so, I'd appreciate instructions on how to do it and also to get a recommendation for a source and type of replacement lamps.

That is a good link. It can get confusing, but just read it a few times and you should be good.
