How to safely remove adhesive from dealer decal?

We took my wife's 2003 Dodge Dakota in for a wash/wax/detail, and in the process, the dealers emblem came off the back of the truck. What's left is the adhesive.

Any idea how we can remove this without damaging the paint?

Goo gone, don't be surprised that the paint under the decal is a different color if it's been a few years.

i removed mine yesterday with 91% rubbing alcohol and a rag. skip the goo gone save the money

You can also use peanut butter - the oil will break up adhesive and it will wipe right off. Just let it soak for a while first.

Not on paint. Plastic razor and a liquid lube or a 3m stripe off wheel. I just ordered one from ebay. I'll post results after I get it and use it. Check videos on youtube, pretty impressive results with it.
