How to Solid Axle Swap (SAS) Your 3rd Gen 4runner

Hey Dudes,

Our buddy Chris, Sean and I have embarked on a huge project we plan on documenting from A to Z. We don't yet know how many episodes will be in this video series, but safe to say, it will be a lot. I usually try to save consecutive thread space so all the videos will be on the first page, but since I don't know what the series length will be, I'm not going to worry about it.

One of the forum members did this several years ago and documented it on here it was very lengthy but highly interesting as this guy is a fab-genius! During his conversion he rolled his 4Runner down a hill (Colorado) and then started the conversion to a purpose built 4Runner/buggy, it was AWESOME!
He's still around as I saw a post from him the other day. If you could find that post you would find much valuable information.

It would be interesting to see his thread but we're installing a specific kit from 4wheel Underground and the geometry of everything has already been figured out for us. So, with this kit, there will hopefully be no trial and error, but we still need to do a whole lot of cutting and welding to make it happen.
