How to turn off seatbelt chime

I don't have the chime sound but i do have the blinking red warning tho.

i tried this on my 08' but im must be doing something wrong it doesnt work

too bad its not permanent...

anytime the battery is DC'd; this resets, and you get the (un)friendly reminder of just how irritating the chime is.

then the blissful refresher of switching it off again...Ahhhh, beautiful silence.
