Howdy from Texas

Just purchased a 1998 SR5 4WD. It was a 1 owner vehicle with 205k miles on it. Body and interior is EXCELLENT, owner had recently put new tires, shocks, timing belt. Very cherry car. I am excited to be back in a real 4x4 suv. Sold my Acura TL. Already ordered a stereo and speakers to replace factory ones.

My very first car when I was 16 was a 1984 Toyota Landcruiser. Tank of a truck.

Anyways, new to the forum also, hope to learn a lot from everyone.

Nice!! Amazing the body looks new!

Guessing a little ol lady drove it to church long distance? :thumb3:

yea, it was garage kept, she babied the thing...I wasn't really even looking to buy a 4Runner, but when i saw the condition it was in, and test drove it I had to have it.

All service has been completed at the local toyota dealership, brand new tires and just replaced shocks all the way around. Crazy good condition...everything works, no broken interior pieces...even the clock works.

Hey Blackcrow, from one noob to another...welcome. I too just bought a 4runner. 1997 Sr5 w/ 140k miles. This is my 1st Toyota of any kind. I bought it for my wifey so I will prolly never get to drive it. That's ok.. my daily driver is an El Camino. Hope you enjoy your new ride..

Hey, thanks! COngrats to you too...

I am really digging it so far. I actually just got done installing a Kenwood single DIN head unit with bluetooth, HD Radio, Pandora, etc. Got a good deal on Crutchfield and im sure I will just keep doing little things to her. Already want a big front bumper with off-road lights. but those things are expensive.
