Howdy from Valencia!

Just picked up this 5th gen, after having a great 2 year ownership of a 3rd gen that another past forum owner and overlander built.

Will probably keep this one stock (or close) until I pay her off in a couple years, but really itching to get her up to Mammoth, Tahoe, and the Carrizo Plain!

I am transitioning from a 4th Gen to a 5th Gen and just getting started on mods.

Your stock 4Runner can take you to places a bit rougher than Carrizo Plains so go for it!

Owen, I was driving to work this morning (North Hollywood) and a MGM TRD offroad T4r pulled up right next to me.I gave him the thumbs up (not sure if he could see me through my tinted windows) and he gave me the thumbs up back. Was that you???

I just realized you got yours from Hamer. I got mine there too. Got an amazing deal through truecar. That was the second place i went to. First place (Miller Toyota in Anaheim) gave me the price over the phone, went down there, and tried the ole bait and switch routine on me. Walked out. Hamer was awesome. was in and out of there in 40 minutes.
