new to me 2006 1 owner limited V8

So I decided to sell my 2022 OR. I would like the last year of the 5th gen or have the choice between a 6th gen and 5th gen in 2 years if the timeline works out.

I found a 2006 1 owner V8 limited with all of the receipts dating back to 2006. It's been undercoated so many times the undercoating is half an inch thick. I drove it 1800 kms home and it drove like a new vehicle.

I was going to order 265/70/17 snow tires. Will there be any issues with rubbing?

Check your clearance inside of tire to UCA, if it has 265/65-17 now you will pick up some width.

First make sure you have 17" limited's between 06-09 had 18" rims, unless yours were changed.

Check the VIN sticker on the driver's door jamb, it has the original tire size on it and then you can tell if the wheels have ever been changed out, i.e. 17" in place of 18", etc..

Yes, you guys are right. The damn thing has 18" tires on it. I just assumed they were all the same for 4th gens. I was going to order the Chinese knock off TRD Pro rims and put the winters on them. I went to Canadian Tire yesterday and found 4 Michelin X-Ice for $59 each so I will run those for the winter.
