Sorry for not being very active on the forums. I've been on Supraforums for 14 years with less than 1,400 posts!

I've been totally slacking on updates, but here's what I can remember off the top of my head. You might see a theme here. Nothing major, but constant small improvements to keep this aging platform somewhat current.

• VLEDS V3 Triton 5K White/Amber Switchback custom-mounted in Front Hella Turn Signal Housings (in Shrockworks Bull Bar)
• VLEDS V3 Triton Amber Rear Turn Signals
• VLEDS Amber 3W LED Auxiliary Turn Signal Pods (at end of rear quarter panel protective tubing)
• Morimoto XB LED Fog Lamps (Type T) with custom hungwin jza80 Brackets
• 3000 Lumen H4 LED Headlamps
• CBI OffRoad Fab Ditch Light Brackets
• Vision X 4.5-inch LED Light Cannons w/ Blackout, Euro Clear, and Amber Covers
• skygear RTMR Cooper Bussman Auxiliary Relay/Fuse Box
• Shrockworks Flip-Up License Plate Mount

January 2015: Morimoto Mini D2S X-Lens (Square) Retrofit into new OEM Toyota Headlamp Assemblies with XB35 5500K Bulbs

I also have some other projects in the works with various fab shops and smaller outfits, but can't really disclose details till they're finalized.

Very nice build! I just read through the whole thing after a picture of your truck came up while I was doing a Google image search for some parts. Your truck is so clean and well thought out with everything you do. I love your selection in cars too. I've got an 01 4x4 4Runner, and a MK3 Supra myself. There seem to be a lot of members here who own both a Runner and a Supra.

I'm sure like most gearheads, we all get to a point during a project or job where we're like: "Why the eff am I doing this...," but when you close the door and walk away from your car or truck, do the head turn, and smile to yourself, it all makes sense!!!

This quote basically explains me. I constantly look back at my vehicles as I walk away. I also tend to park at the very back of the parking lot, partially because I hate that people have no regard for other's property, and also because I think I like the long walk back just looking at them...

Are you still running the superflex coils with the CBI bumper? If so, how are they holding up? Are you wanting to switch to 861's?

No longer PIAAs, I fabbed mounting brackets for TRS XB LED Type-T Fog Lights.

Yessir. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Superflex springs. I don't miss the OMEs one single bit. What a night and day difference.

IF this is the case, it's time for me to order some coils... I LOVE the 861's, they're just so dang tall.

Fwiw I love my 861s I could load the back till the house was empty and I might lose 1" of height. Normal unladen use was fine. About 4" of lift empty. Of course theres a lot of steel under the rescue runner and so it might just sit lower because of that. I think the 861 are perfect, but again that's just me

I never ran the 861s so I can't compare the two, but the Superflex blow away the 890s IMHO. I just did not like how unsettled the rear end felt with them. I set my front coilovers a touch low so the truck will be relatively level when it's loaded with wheeling/camping gear.

I kinda think the seats of my pants are highly calibrated having coilovers on my Supra (HKS Hipermax Performer), MR2 (JIC then KW Variant 3), and former SC300 (Bilstein/Hyperco bka gixxer_drew suskit). j/k :driving: :wink2:
