as long as the top bar on the guard is 3 in. but damn, the light mounts are almost the price of the guard. so the combined price of both + shipping for both, puts you over 100, its up to u, but id just buy something that has mounts already.

well i just ordered the guard so im going to see what i might possibly be able to make. if i cant find anything to make mounts for cheaper than 37 then ill buy the PIAA mounts. those will be good quality. (its PIAA)

Hey...why don't u try the junkyards for the mount brackets...they may have used ones for cheap...If they are rusty or something just cure them and repaint them...

I went with PIAA 520. very bright white light. helpful in the low light conditions and integrate well.

those look like they would work as long as you can get em welded. ya know, believe it or not, homedepot or lowes has brackets that might work. something like the kind for wire fences or something that will fit around that top tube. just an idea, if you cant get access to a welder.

well my friend can weld and actually has built a custom aluminum mtb downhill bike frame. still in progress but just some tack welds would do the trick.

now the lights? hmmmmmmm... im thinking hella 50ff because of price and the easy install kit. dont really want to spend a lot so nothing over 150 but if yall know another kit that is around that price range let me know.
