Hunting for used winter wheel/tires on CL - what sizes are OK?

Hi all, recently purchased a 2008 Sport V8 and am going to start stalking craigslist for a set of used winter wheels/snow tires. I know my stock size is 265/65/17 and I believe the stock wheels are 17x8" (this may be incorrect). Beyond that basic knowledge, I really do not know much about wheel and tire sizes. I definitely want something that is a simple bolt off / bolt on. As I search craigslist daily over the next couple months, what sizes can I search for, or on the flip side, what is too small and would not fit?

I don't think the stock rims were 8.5" I know the TRD Sema Pro rims I picked up to replace my stock rims are are only 17X7"

The stock ones on my 2006 sport were:
7.5Jx17 ET6
Bolt Pattern (mm): 6x139.7
Offset (mm): -4 to 20
Front CB (mm): 106.1
Rear CB (mm): 106.1
Stud Size: 12x1.5

look for any 17's from 2003-current 4runners, or FJ cruiser wheels for the rims. i got my FJ cruiser 6 spokes for a few hundred bucks. are you getting snow tread? if so i have had luck with bridgestone blizzacks on a GTI and general arctic altimax on a WRX. both were awesome in the snow. otherwise just a meaty all terrain which is more likely what youll find on complete wheels on CL. good luck...feels weird talking about this during a summer heat wave (im in MA)

265/65/r17 tires. Michelin with good tread on all 4. Came off my 2007 Tacoma. Rims are in perfect driving shape but cosmetically aged. Paint is chipped on all 4. 6 lug and will match up with any year Toyota. Priced to move.Will separate. $150 or best offer.

I ran both vehicles through the bolt pattern link and they seem exact.

My 2008 is completely stock.

It bolt pattern should be a match however with the 1.5" wider Tire/Rim setup the Rim's offset will become important. (See https://www.msawheels.com/blog/wheel-offset-explained/ for a good explanation of offset and why it matters) You will likely want about an additional 0.75" negative offset to move the tires outward so that the inside of the rim and tire don't rub on anything. With the +12mm offset I suspect that the seller was using 1.25" spacers to get close to the -31mm (~0.75") negative offset

FYI These rims weigh 28.2 pounds each + the weight of the wider Snow tires. So depending on the rims and tires you are running now you can expect 5-8lbs of extra rolling resistance to all 4 corners. This will negatively impact acceleration, stopping (possibly offset by the larger contact patch and gummyness of the snow tires), as well as overall gas mileage.
