HVAC blower motor not coming on...what else can I check??

Temporary fix for the holiday weekend:

Wiggled the blue/red wire at IG1-4 to figure out which direction would lead to the best contact with the male plug
Towards the driver door lead to the best results
i.e. Bending the male contact towards the center console would be best
Bend male contact towards the center just a little
Plug connector back in
Continuity good
Wiggle wire all around...continuity not lost
Voltage at blower motor with contact bent is 11.92
Plug everything back in, turn truck on, switch to high, BLOWER WORKS!!

Still plan on FIXING this issue with the appropriate parts, but this should get me through the weekend and a 5 hour drive to see my mom for Thanksgiving.

I *might* have gotten to this point without your help, but there is NO doubt that I would not have gotten here BEFORE my trip without it. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!!! Where do I send the six pack (and what kind)?

Does anyone have a photo or diagram of this area and more specifically this IG1-4 wire? I'm having the same issue with my blower motor not turning on and I'm convinced it's a loose connection after everything I've done so far. Not to mention, I had symptoms of it cutting in and out in the past before it stopped working completely.

OP just got back to me saying it's behind the driver side fuse kick panel. I have to get back there to swap in a EP35 relay to stop a hyper-flash, so I would like to try this while I'm in there. Thanks in advance!

I'm having exactly the same issue, mine has a digital module AC problem (blower not working) code 13. Any advice is really appreciated

First, it's not your HBR if fan won't run on HIGH. That completely bypasses the HBR.

Sounds like it's the control switch, if you have ruled out the relay.

The switch has to do two things:

Energize the relay coil, and,

Send 12V+ to the HBR (LO or MED) or directly to the motor (HIGH).

Test protocol for the control switch is under Service Hints in the EWD linked below:

Did you test the relay in place by grounding the yellow/red wire at the blower switch? Did you check if the white/black wire at Pin 1 of the blower switch is a good ground? Try connecting the motor to the battery with switch on HIGH but do just ground and then just battery positive. That will determine if problem is on relay side or switch side.
