I ama about to buy a 2005 4 runner v6 any body want to stop me ?

I already have a taco. but my wife needs the room for the new baby.
So I want a 4 runner cause they rock!!
Anything bad about a 2005 sr4 v6

I went from a Taco to my current 4Runner and couldn't love it more!

DO IT! 60,000 miles zero problems. 19-20 mpg (with a semi-lead foot), not too bad for a truck with the capabilities of the 4r.

I dont think you can get sr4, not 4Runner at least; but sr5, sports and limited - yes. I'd go for it, you'll love it.

I just went from a '05 Taco 4-door to a '04 T4R and I don't regret the decision one bit.

The 4runner is WAY smoother riding and negligible gas-wise compared to the taco.

In all reality do you think the Taco was a pretty tough truck ? They use them in our nursery land and even some of the real old ones and new one are beat to hell and they all keep motivating.

The simple answer to your question is NO, I will not stop you. I have a 2005 4Runner and love it more each day. They are safe for the family, reliable, and fun to drive.

Keep both if possible. I have a '05 Taco DC. I love it as well, wouldn't give one up for the other. The 4Runner does ride smoother and quieter than the Taco. Also, the 4Runner has full time 4WD, whereas the Taco is only part time... the 4Runer can be driven in 4WD all day long and on any type of surface.

2005+ is the ideal starting year for a 4Runner. The V6 got a 5-speed transmission and V8 got VVT-i.

Buy it !! Best vehcle I have ever owned !!!! The longer I have it the more i like it,you can tow 5000 lbs with it,take it on long trips
I put a bike carrier on the hitch and a kayak or Yakima roof box on top.It will really grow on you,I am a huge Toyota truck guy
and this is my first SUV and it is awesome.You will find that the Taco will sit alot more because the roomy 4R is so nice and comfortable on any trip.

I don't know yet if there are differences between the 03 and 05, but I have a v6 Sport Edition and I love the freaking thing. I got it as a daily driver, and wanted a v6 for gas, blah blah blah, drove a v8 and they're both nice. They really are awesome trucks and won't let you down at all.
