2005 GX470 with 19,000 original miles. I honestly did not know this color existed, but I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. All the maintenance was done at the dealer, oil changes every 3 months no matter what the mileage change was. Navi update in 08. The only option not on the truck was rear DVD. He even got the chrome rims, which I could do without I think. He lost his license due to age (sight). Anyway, no fun without some crampy iPhone pics right?

Lose the gold center caps on the chrome wheels.

I like it though - second favorite Toy/Lexus other than my Land Cruiser.

Already planning on it for sure! Even the chrome rims are stretching it for me.

Hey, what LC do you have? I had a FJ62 for a bit. I sold it for $9K as I had no time. It was a TANK but I really wanted the 60.

Did KDSS exist in 2005? If so, then does your truck have it??

Congrats...that's a keeper...so low mileage...wow!!

Dont know about the year but it was only on SE packages with black interior and onyx black interior trim so he does not.

I think that the "Sport" package applies to 2007(???) and up. The Sport package had KDSS along with the blackened wood. From 2004-?, KDSS was a standalone option before Lexus made the Sport pkg.

Correct! I don't have the KDSS. It was a very little known option in 2005 from what the dealer told me. It was available I guess in special order. In my search, I found only one GX with the sport package including the blackened wood. It was an 07 and had a TON of miles on it.

It's called Meridian Blue Pearl and I had no idea it existed. It was avail only in 04-05. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it and knew I had to have it. And your comment is exactly why I jumped on it. I was really looking at a lower price point, but this I felt was one of those opportunities that only come around once in a long while. You only live once (as so much as we know) so enjoy the ride!

Honestly, one of the coolest parts of the GX is it still has many of the feelings of the 4Runner. I'm a huge fan of the drivetrain and the GX seems an even more refined version. (i don't think there is a difference may just be going from 42K to 19K.)

where is the rear spoiler?
 
KDSS was just a stand alone option starting in 04. Not sure if they made it part of the Sport Edition package (which included the silver roof rails, smoked headlights, and silver interior trim to replace the wood grain).

Looks great!! It's a keeper, just like mine hehehe :lmao:
