I like the Lexus because is more affordable. I can find one around 10-12 k depends on the conditions of it.

mpg is alot better than my 4runner and slightly quicker too.

if you got the money, it actually is a good time to buy a car with dealerships hurting for money and people needing money.

I want a new car uber bad, but is hard to cough out the 37k for a 'loaded' 2009 Is250. Maybe finance through it perhaps?

Sorry. before you bag on a Benz, keep in mind that the c240 is a cheap luxury version, not the sport model. you drove a 40 year old womans car. c230k sports are supercharged and faster, atleast the 05 is supercharged. they're not

well, the c230 kompressor had about 190 hp compare the newer c230 ones which was about 201.

Either way, unless is the amg c class. I would not get a benz.


I drove all 3 of them, the c230 k ,c230 and the c240. To me, they are slow.

I take an Is300 over it, easier to maintain and parts are cheaper.

Now, I found an 07 audi a4 quattro 2.0 t.

It looks really good and having the quattro with it will be even better.

Have any of you owned an a4 before?

The audi is pimp there is no arguing that, However the cost of maintaining one OWTCH. I owned an audi and loved it, untill I put it into the shop then I traded it for a landcruiser.

yeah $400 for a wheel bearing, replacing the radiator once, the resivor twice and the thermostat 5 times and more crap convinced me to ditch my audi. i tried to baby it and it looked decent but man oh man are they expensive to fix! plus finding somebody that can actually work on them is fun too. id get the lexus anyday over the audi. but thats of course me. just be aware that their not very durable and re-sell vaule sucks with higher milage.

Agreed, the Audi will rape when it comes to paying for maintenance. The IS300 is a 2JZ with legendary Toyota reliability.


If I had a choice, I'd go IS over Audi.

I go snow boarding in the winter months.

with the runner, I probably have to fill up on the way up to the mountains.

the gas mileage on mine isn't that great.

with the audi, I get close to 12 more miles per gallon or more.

Is nice to have the quattro if i need it, I rather have it there then not having it at all.

Yes, I agree quattro is nice. I previous car was an A6 and I did like the quattro. However, I was driving it in MN and CO. In CA, were you might not use it too much, I wouldn't really let that be to the sole determining factor over a RWD car

I rather have the a4 than the runner.

It does get wet sometimes during the years of the months but also traveling to the North to my girlfriend's home could be a challenge if i don't have awd.

with the runner, I probably have to fill up twice instead of once.

The a4 would be alot better than the runner.

my runner is getting old, with 200k coming soon. Is time to get rid of the old car and in with the new one.

If i put my money in it, is going to be a bloody money pit.

Why not take the money and buy something better?

I called my local Audi dealership and they just sold the last a4 titanium quattro last week.

I never though is that hard to find a a4 with titanium, quattro and s line package.

Where else should I try and look for one?

or should i try out the g35x sedan?

any recommendation?
