I Finally Made It!!!!

YES!!! I've been stalking this forum for years, dreaming, wishing, pining, cursing, ooohing and ahhhing... but my time has finally come.

Yesterday I closed on a 2006 4Runner Limited V6 4WD!! :guitar3:

I struggled because I really wanted white (didn't get it) and really wanted 17" rims so I could get C load Duratracs (didn't get that either). Basically rear side curtain air bags were a must, and, though I've read that they're optional on all models in 2006, I only ever found them on Limited models (with 18" rims, of course). So that meant bye bye 17" rims. As for white, I guess I just wasn't patient enough once I finally had the green light. :crybaby:

Thanks... I like your truck, too! I've seen it a few times recently on here as I kept stumbling upon it during my imaginary truck build phase (read the past few years).

So is it actually black or is it Shadow Mica? It's hard to tell in that picture?

It's not black... truth be told I'm not really familiar with the difference between Shadow Mica and Galactic Grey Mica... :shrug:. I think it's Shadow Mica. I haven't seen it in sunlight yet... just fluorescent lighting, dusk, and overcast skies so far.

I have a hard time telling as well. I do like both SM and GG. Maybe this would help??

Modding:

• 265/65/18 Duratracs in C load... too bad it doesn't exist!
• All-Pro spacers 1.25 in the front and 1.5 in the back or just 1.25 all around... haven't decided
• Daystar 2.5/1.5

I'm thinking I'll buy some 17" rims and go with the 265/70/17 Duratracs in C load but I'll probably change my mind several more times before I pull the trigger! :redbrick:

Thanks for that. I did have a look and still am not sure as I haven' had that much time with my new-to-me 4Runner yet! Today is the first day I'll see it during daylight (though it's cloudy and snowing!)... I've got a couple other avenues to find out but haven't had time (e.g. phoning the dealership and giving them my VIN, or else leafing through the documentation I got with the vehicle).
