I found one!

I found a '97 4Runner with 79,000 miles on it. Seems to have been well cared for. V6;auto;4wd;leather,moon roof, alloy wheels,etc. I'm going to pick it up in the morning. Thanks to this site, and thanks to those who helped me w/ a couple of inquiries over the past two weeks.

Too much, probably! 10 grand, but the low mileage for the year, along with it's excellent condition is what forced my hand. ...At least that's my excuse.

It's a stock SR5 I guess. Brand new P65 General Grabbers were thrown in. The dealer had another '97 SR5 for 8 grand, but it had 115,000 miles on it. Still, it was a good looking rig.

What's the mileage interval for timing belt replacement? Thanks

Very nice folks. They have a bunch of Tacomas and other Tojo's. I had an FJ55 in the mid 70's, but I like the 4Runner better. We went up to Fayette today from our home on the Boothbay peninsula, and everything functioned normally. As you know, the roads are tough everywhere, but we managed not to get bounced out through the moon roof. I'll be glad when Spring really gets here.
