my guess is damaged rotors from past experience. did my rotors 2 months ago (and two years before that 
). They couldn't be easier to install. they cost me about $25 each at auto zone. take off your front tires and inspect the rotors. you might even be able to see from through the wheels. your pads will probably have worn unevenly if this is the case so you will probably have to do those too.
