For those that are interested in pizza cutter tire fitment info... Here is my input to the bounty of info out there...

First I personally love the look. The pictures I took are terrible, and certainly don't do the truck/ tires justice.

My set up:
Toytec ultimate lift with the reservoir billies. No body lift no wheel spacers. Junk Yard bump stop mod. Sr5, with the black fender flares, and savage rear bumper with swing out.

Tires that I want to fit:
BFG KM2 (the mud terrain for those that don't speak BFG) 255/85/16


WHY I went with the BFG's:

They were one of the lightest in this size... except for the coopers.
I have had great luck with BFG's in the past.
I actually found a set.
The aggressive side lugs and white letters out help deter the look of huge tire little wheel...(just a thing I have)

Fitment:

They balanced up well
So far I have had to remove the front mud guards, and as you can see below the pinch weld mod is def in my future!
They do not hit the UCA.
They do not hit the gas tank funnel plastic bit
Everything in the rear clears well.
I have very minor fame rubbing at full lock... so minor you cannot hear or feel it(I had the same with my 265/75's.
I believe the only area I am hitting is the pinch weld.... more flexing may be needed to confirm.

I love my KM2's so far - amazing some of the things these trucks will climb with proper rubber on the ground. I was a little thrown by the pizza cutter comment until I saw the last pic - looks like mine on a serious diet. Have fun out there!

I'm currently running a set of Duratracs in the 265 flavor but once my lift is installed it will be skinny's for me too.

But mine will be in the 17's

You mentioned those being the lightest, what do they weigh in at?
I think mine are around 45 and accidently put load E on them at about a six pound increase and just dogged the motor, so I'm well aware of the weight being a big deal, without the need of regearing.

I believe they are around 53-55 pounds each... My previous tires were around there too. I think the cooper stt Max were the lightest I could find in that size that had an aggressive tread.

No im not saying I dont like the look. I have seen and wanted to run that type of tire. Not bashing them at all. Im also running stock wheels, just have some 1.25 spacers up front. She rubs but not too bad.

Yeah, didn't think you were. I Just don't have a BL , and with the savage already mounted I was trying to avoid a body lift... Your set up looks sweet BTW. I'm really looking forward to the spring thaw so I can test these bad larrys out.

They're incredibly sought after. I don't want to give a number on what you could get for them. That's because it's so rare to see a pair come up for sale that it's hard to tell what the going price is. They're no longer in production by Toyota.

They're great tires. I see you're in Vermont, they don't do well in compact snow and ice, but they're a mud terrain. Wasn't a problem with me as I ran a dedicated winter tire. But overall, best mud terrain I've ever ran. I had 285s and got a lot of miles out of them.

I mean you might as well get some cash, if the little gap between the flare and bottom of the body bugs you there is a guy who sells end caps for those flares in the classifieds, or if you can get your hands on a set of the running boards that match the flares you can cut up the front end of those to meet the bottom of the truck.

I don't know what the mud flaps are technically worth, but you could certainly get more than you paid for them since they are rare now.

The skinnies look good btw.

Since youre in VT too, you could probably fetch a higher premium for a part like that. I dont know about you, but I don't ever really see anything good come up on craigslist around here. I get jealous of the other fellas on this forum who seem to be able to get a hold of superchargers and good suspension components on CL.
