I hate trailer lights

New here . Found this forum researching this problem. 2007 4R trailer right stop and blinker don't work. Started at the light and worked forward found some connections that were suspect. Fixed them right. No joy.
Tested 4R factory plug right turn is dead. Yup I found the problem but what is next. Fuses all I found seem ok. Wires seem ok no visible crimps or rubs.
All lights on the 4R work as they should. :yield:

Sounds like you have a bad towing converter. Google it, it's vehindeft rear cargo wall cover. About 2"x2" black box

Did you test the fuses with a test light/DVM or look at them? Also, unplug the harness from the trailer plug and make sure there is no corrosion on any of the pins. If there is clean is all off and use some Di-electric grease before plugging it in.

Running into a similar problem with my pop up camper. Since it has been really cold I havent gotten around to troubleshooting but another person here at work told me it needed some sort of adapter or to re-wire the trailer plugs because the problem is that the t4r has seperate turn signals and the camper does not. Might not be even close to your problem but figured I'd chime in anyway. Good luck and let us know what you do please.

Clean up all the connections for corrosion and if that doesn't work I'd bet it's the towing converter especially since everything on the truck works fine... Look at the electrical schematics and you'll be convinced too, it's the only thing downstream of your towing fuses before the plug under your rear bumper.

Gave up looking and took to an auto electric guy. He thought that it was the converter.
So he started looking. He never found a converter. He did find a bad factory connection.
Cleaned it and put it back together and sealed it. Everything works now.
Thanks
