I have a valve tick/tap - How to fix?

The Evap canister does make a ticking, and even a "mooing" sound (pretty hilarious) but it's fairly quiet.

My engine grenaded on Tuesday, I think I broke a valve or cracked a piston.

Way back when I put a high lift cam in my Yamaha TT500, also bought S&W high perf springs but was too lazy to put them in. First time out with high lift cam dropped intake valve very soon. Took home and replaced valve ( no springs yet … dumb). Next time out, 6hour drive from home, dropped intake valve in first 10 minutes!!
I then installed the S&W's along with another new valve … what a beast it was from then on. Lesson learned; high lift cam PLUS high perf valve springs!

Yup, learned that the hard way. Camshaft are still sitting in the shed for when I can save up some $$'s for new valve springs!
